Yes, it can take a little while. Any skill can take time to learn and master. So, of course, does pedaling a bike, or swimming, playing tennis, golf, etc. What I do with my athletes is have them use a series of Pose Method drills to build their new technique - something separate and apart from what they had been doing - and in short order see them get the basics down pat. Over time they refine their skills, getting better and better, but they can learn the technique in an hour, or so. And, even if it takes days or weeks to get comfortable with Pose Method, it's worth the effort. Once you have it, you have it. Lastly, I don't think it's all that hard to master since the technique boils down to just pulling your foot from the ground (on time). It does take practice, and commitment. So, if you're still working on it, stay with it. You'll get it.
