Did you get approved at initial, recon or did you have to go to a judge? I’m at recon and still waiting since last October 😩

@@rosachavez6394I just got approved after 4 years of aggravation, then when I finally got my first check Didn't get the full $943 that I'm supposed to get, they gave me $600 and none of my backpack which is like $32000 I think. Plus I had a horrible worker who wouldn't return any of my phone calls about anything!!! I need to know what I need to do to get the full 943 so I can start paying my grandma rent!!

Hi can you please answer a question for me? I just got approved a couple months ago and my worker did my non medical review and I answered all her questions about how I've been living with my grandma and her helping me these past years and that I what's going to have to start paying her rent whenever I got my money and my worker or whoever decided it only gave me like $600 for my monthly pay I didn't get none of my back pay I'm supposed to get the full 943 that's the largest amount you can get for SSI in the state of Florida what do I need to do to get the full 943 because my grandmother wants me to start paying her rent cause of inflation and everything I can't keep living here for free play someone help me and tell me what do I need to do to get the full benefit of 943?????

I understand your concern about receiving the full SSI benefit amount. The amount of SSI benefits you receive can be affected by various factors, including your living situation and any income you may have. If you believe there has been a mistake in the calculation of your benefits, you can request a reconsideration from the Social Security Administration (SSA). This is a complete review of your claim by someone who did not take part in the first decision. To request a reconsideration, you can call the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 or visit your local Social Security office. You can also find more information on the SSA's website: www.ssa.gov/benefits/disability/appeal.html For more information on how to maximize or stretch your SSI benefits or checks, you can watch this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zw7mHmZkqVk.html.

Thanks for the replay. Did I hear right, in the beginning area of the video, when it's time for someone's review process, If I'm not mistaken, you're saying the SS administration is so short staffed that a review may not be likely when it's time? For now, anyway.

So informative, thank you! Perry Stair"s comment re the 300th day in reconsideration: I have been in reconsideration since February 22, 2023. So about 480th day??? ALSO IN MARYLAND.
@TheDisabilityDigest
@TheDisabilityDigest 3 месяца назад
I'm glad you found the information helpful! Perry Stair's comment highlights an important point about the reconsideration process. If you've been in reconsideration since February 22, 2023, that would indeed put you at around 480 days. It's understandable to feel concerned about the delay. I recommend reaching out to your local Social Security office in Maryland for an update on your case. They might be able to provide more specific information on the status and expected timeline.
