WE know what they’re doing, but if I was out and some random dude was recording me for seemingly no reason and refused to tell me WHY, I’d be weirded out as well. Just because you have the right to do something doesn’t mean people are wrong for not wanting you to do it.

@@Jason-un9ps oh totally! I get that. But at the same time, it's no different than staring at someone. A camera is really only a second form of eyes but,, with a perfect memory. Remember, it takes all kinds to make the world go round. What might seem weird to one person, is totally reasonable to another. If we just go about our day and worry less about what others are doing, things will flow as usual.

I'm a Postmaster and seeing the condition this building is in, I feel ashamed. I take 5 minutes each day and walk around the parking lot and customer lobby checking things out and from their point of view. I change light bulbs, pickup trash, restock forms and supplies. My employees see that I have pride in my workplace and their morale go up. I have amazing employees, they would never act the way these employees did. *edit: the clerk who sold Jason his stamp did a fine job.

@John Doe not if she's recording a conversation between two other parties, for example the cops and the reporting party. Edit: Basicaly what it comes down to is, creating privacy in public is some seriously murky waters, and not something I would want to risk Mrs AP's freedom on.

If you run the number you will see that in FL that section has to do with towing of vehicles and the attainable hours of operation required if they tow your unauthorized vehicle. So no! You should not park there, but you are welcome to drive through it because it is directly street adjacent with no indication of restrictions other than parking.

If you look at little deeper MVPD refers to the Mountain View California Police Department, and the number after that is the phone number for the police department. That’s there presumably so if your car is towed you can call the police department to find out where where your car was towed to

The Florida towing statute is: Fla. Stat. § 715.07 CVC is definitely California Vehicle Code. Some clueless person probably just sent them the wrong sign, thinking they're all the same.

Unless his superiors get complaints from members of the public, and order him to tidy the property, and make the much needed repairs. I'm curious to know how long David has been in charge there.. On google street view, there are six pictures of the building from 2007 to 2020, and the lawn looks fine in all of them. That banner has been up since 2015 though.

@@Fantazier1 Yes. I should've waited to the end before posting my comment. I'm now seriously wondering if someone from the post office (Dangerous David?) or maybe their social club have the contract to do landscape maintenance, especially with the mower being there, and we see the result. It's definitely not unheard of as the postmaster is probably able to award small jobs without the usual due process. Genuine lawn mowing sub-contractors are usually very reliable and would rarely let the grass get away to that extent.

If they are unable to find ground keeper personal, just remove the grass area and put pavers etc there, but its not like that will happen. Ground is probably so uneven that robot cutter could not handle that, not that it can be operated in such area unsupervised..

Watchman is correct on the sign, I personally have put up more than a thousand of them (I’m in the towing business). 22658 is a California code for private property impounds and it’s also to small. Good job guys 👍🇺🇸

SUPER glad to see you in Florida FINALLY!!! PLEASE go to AL next. A bunch of scared, depends wearing, old men on the AL State Supreme Court made a ruling in October that police have no duty to provide the public with any records in their possession whether created by them or provided to them absent a judicial order. A bunch of baby cops went crying to them claiming releasing those records will only be used to make them look bad and it's an "officer safety" thing. I tried to get the body cam of a very minor traffic accident my wife was involved in and they responded with "file a subpoena thru your attorney". Alabama citizens have to file a lawsuit to get any and all records from police in that state.

The problem with the post office is now they are more expensive than private box companies and the employees act the way their supervisor wants them to. No one will get fired

Great interaction with the officers once again there,except for david the manger,great concern for the customers to mow the grass& put new signs up& clean up . Wow that place needs maintenance bad.if I didn't live so far away I'd come out& do it. Great mail employee with the stamp purchase ...great video again WTW& AP & Happy late birthday wishes to Mrs AP🎉. Be safe out there guys 🇺🇸

AP, another awesome job. Geeeze that office was mess including David. Hopefully your videos revealed the real problem. Thank you and the Watchman for highlighting problems such as this. I realize our nation faces far more grave problems than a run down post office, however clean up and straighten up our nation muststart somewhere. Please be safe and travel with peace always.
