In what ways does it look disgusting? It looks OK to me, maybe you are not used to seeing one whole chicken cooked in curry, I am not used too, but I am open to it. I am from Malaysia, we practically eat curry everyday including chicken curry. We don't cook whole chicken but we cut the chicken into pieces, that's the normal of cooking chicken curry. But I think it's perfectly OK to try something new, like cooking chicken whole in curry, it wouldn't hurt, I may even wanna try this pretty soon to see how it tastes, I may even stuff boiled eggs and whole potatoes inside the chicken before putting it into the curry pot..
