Makes 10 pakorahs
You will need:
For the Potato filling:
2 cups Mashed potato
2 tablespoons Oil
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
Green chilli paste to taste
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1 tablespoon lemon juice
10 small curry leaves
handful of finely chopped coriander
For the Batter:
2 cups Chana flour / Chickpea flour
2 teaspoons Chilli flakes
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon Coriander powder
1 teaspoon Cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida/ hing
1 cup finely chopped fresh coriander
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
Approximately 2 cups and 2 tablespoons of water to make a thick batter.
Extra Ingredients:
5 heap tablespoons of Green Chutney: • Green chutney
10 Bread slices ( sides removed )
Oil for deep frying

I made these for iftaar today 😍. I love putting imli chutney inside too and cutting mine into four triangles, cause I find them so filling. Today though, I skipped the imli n had green chutney one side, schezwan on the other, potatoe and a slice of cheese in the middle. Soo so good.

Aslm can these be shallow fried?

Wslm. I dont recommend shallow frying. However you can allow the oil to just come up until the sides are in the oil. Then flip and fry the other side.
