Sadie is a cutie pie, I suspected she might be your mom's pup as there was no introduction to a new family pet. What a busy day you had, and you got so much done, I must be getting old because I'd count myself lucky if I even got half of what you achieved done. Your soup sounds so good, I'll definitely have to give it a try, we are soup eaters around here for sure. Jacob is going to have such a great birthday, the cake always looks so delicious and I'm sure he will love his gifts, even if the real special one comes a bit late. Thanks for taking us along while the kids played outside after school, the weather looks gorgeous, though the cold doesn't come across other than to see the kids all bundled up. So sad that the paint color didn't turn out as expected, I agree it looks a little blah, but oh goodness to have to paint it again, so much work. It's been a good week here, baby is getting better, I'm still struggling a bit with cold and sinus but seem to be doing a bit better. Have a great party, and a fun weekend with the family.

That potato soup will be delicious 😋 Lindsay. I haven't made that in awhile but I do put chicken broth in mine. That cake looks yummy. I will have to make it this summer, so easy too. Hello again, Jacob’s birthday is not too far from mine being on the 22. The cake and soup looked delicious. I probably would have just messed with him a little and took out one shoe and said, sorry, you gotta wait till next year to get the other shoe! 😂lol. I would have given it to him though. The lego technic truck looks cool. That was the main gift we wanted when I was his age. It took me a while to get good at it though because the instructions are often confusing but I’m sure he will get it together soon. Thank you for sharing, I never would have thought editing took that long although throughly enjoy watching them. Tell Jacob Happy Belated Birthday 🎉🎂 I usually get a cake from one of our bakeries because I like the white almond cake and buttercream frosting and I don’t really have the tools needed for all of the decorations and don’t really have the time to do them.
