Potential transformer or voltage transformer is another type of instrument transfomer which is used for measurement of voltages. For voltmeter operation and voltage related relays operation like undervoltage relay, over voltage relay etc. VT or PT is used.

No Fuse failure relay is provided on primary side of HT PT, it is provided on secondary side of PT. Please check and update

As far i know pt secondary has mcb. So i doubt if there is any requirement. However i will check

That is correct nowadays it is MCB and now we use its auxiliary contact to check its status however earlier we used to have fuse on secondary side also and they used to give FFR for this fuse. It's very simple how can we connect any relay directly on HT side, that's why it is always on the secondary side whether FFR or MCB aux contact in order to check voltage healthiness of the circuit. But now we have other means also by which we can derive the PT healthiness through numerical relay monitoring

Please read the correct configuration. Fuse failure relay shall be in the secondary not in primary.

In GIS we select 10 VA on 33 kV side. How do you select 50 VA or 100 VA burden for PT?

Sir kindly provide more information why protection class of PT has 3P,6P,5P when we choose 3p n all. Some time I have seen secondary of PT in broken delta is 110/3 not 110/√3

VT class 0.2 for metering and 3P for protection. Sorry please find correct Bus VT burden 20 VA and Line VT 15 VA for 33kV/11kV substation. CT class 0.2 and 5P20 class

I have seen 50 VA for 132 kV switchyard. But yes it can be reduced.
