@@bezolsmate I'm somewhat jealous of how foodservice is in Europe, you're approaching him for food. Small talk and chatter is 2nd in line after the food. Here in the states its heavy on how the customer is always right and appealing to them however you can. His style is much more efficient than others I've seen, yet retains a polite and short side to interactions
@@bezolsmate he’s providing a service not a favor. The customer has manners so they say thank you, it’s up to the worker if they want to respond or not.
Having been in food service for 15 years myself, I'm very impressed with your dedication to food safety and cleanliness. There are so many food videos out there that may not bother the casual viewer but make me cringe. Cross-contamination, poor hygiene, etc. Showing yourself making sure your temps are correct, marking your log book, even just washing your hands speaks volumes to me about how great you are doing. Oh, and yes the food looks great too!!!
As someone who just passed their Level 3 catering course a few months back and just started their first catering job I 100% agree with you. Food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen is top priority and the way the temperatures are checked and marked down, washing hands, as well as how tidy that kitchen just shows how much MrT must love his job and the kitchen he works in!
So the spot at 14:34 where he, in clear view, puts his bare hand into the cheese, doesn't "make you cringe"? Couldn't even be bothered to put gloves on.
@@Dyanosis No. Not a bit. If this actually makes you cringe, I doubt you have ever worked in any kind of food service, restaurant or retail grocery. I wish I could say they were as clean, hygienic and holding of the same standards as this gentleman. Ever gotten a can of soda from a vending machine and drank from the can? Aren't always like you see them in the store, sealed in cardboard cases. No sir. They sit in warehouses on pallets with rats everywhere. Speaking of cringing, I hope you don't enjoy ice in your drink when you eat out. Chances are greater than 50% that the ice machine at your favorite eatery has enough visible mold to make you want to lose your lunch. More into the bar scene? If you notice that the air around the bar itself smells just a little more yeasty, fermented, and fruity than you would think, don't just assume that is to be expected. It might be, but it could very well mean there is an infestation of fruit flies. Check your drinks very carefully for "floaters".
Maybe it is for us over on are side of the pond, but them britts have been training there stomachs for generations now. Just to cearify, This is in the UK right?
2 questions: 1. Is the "oil" you put down just oil, a combination of oil and butter, or is it something like Whirl? 2. For your eggs, is that just salt/pepper, or is there some baking soda in that mix to keep your eggs fluffy? It's a joy to watch someone who takes so much pride in their work. Keep it up mate.
Just found your RU-vid it's 3:31 in the morning in Alabama untied states and I'm getting hungry by watching this video love the video the food looks great and you are so clean and neat of what you do you got a new subscriber
Hi, proper scrambled eggs take a lot longer to cook, I have to be fast because our customers have very little time to grab beakfast, take your time the result will be much better 👌😉👍
I have finally learnt to make the perfect scrambled eggs by following your recipe Mr T. It comes out so soft, fluffy and light. The other trick is to add salt and pepper before frying. Thank you very much Mr T and don't stop with the ASMR cooking that you do. Paresh from South Africa.
From a chef's point of view yes, absolutely. In reality most people (our customers, I've been cooking for them for years) like eggs really well done, probably a British thing 👌😉👍
How should I ask people to cook my eggs? I literally cannot eat and hate egg with any slight brown or hardness crunch on it which is why I don’t buy eggs at restaurants etc loool
15:50 Many moons ago I worked in a are home and had to put on gloves to do personal care with residents. My heart goes out to you T. The struggle was real. 😩😅😉
Till date could never consistently get the perfect sunny side up, one of the eggs’s bottom always gave up and turned it into scrambled eggs while picking up 😅
Thank you sir! Recently became your #1 fan hahaha. I absolutely love cooking and eating. Watching your POv videos I imagine I would have went into the food industry. You're an amazing Chef sir! I would love to cook for you! Much love from your Chicago brother!!!!
Another great video! Food looks good as always! Was. That white pepper you were putting in the eggs? As I’m not for the UK what was that tomato sauce looking stuff you scooped on.
Out of curiosty is a boiled egg in most breakfast restaraunts / cafe's cooked in the way you did it? I haven't ordered a boiled egg in my life but I assumed most places would keep the egg uncracked as it cooks in the water and then peel it open for them to eat. Or maybe that's just Ramen shops
The food named"煎饼果子",right 🤣🤣🤣just kidding 😂.i just saw"煎饼果子”on RU-vid and made you like very much.(google translate has a different understanding, like "Chinese savior crepe)
