The LM7 is a solid engine. I have a 05 Sierra with a LM7 and a 07 Classic with a L59. The L59 stock is a little bit more peppy only because it can use E85 but they're both the fuckin Rocky Balboa of stock bottom end engines. Nice truck man🏁🇺🇲
Looking to do the same in my truck it’s a daily driver what type of gas mileage do you get can’t imagine it’s the best just wanting to know what choice to make and mine looking good though
yo is this a 6.0? and i want to swap my 4.8 with a 6.0, semi built w a chop monster, stall you think my 4l60e is fine to run for a while? thinking of gettin a 4l80e later on
This is a 5.3 lm7 brotha and I recommend building your 4l60 or getting a 4l80 the stock transmission will have issues after a few months of having it as I’m having right now lol I’m planning on getting a RPM built 4l60e and I should be solid with the setup I have rn
Stay with the 4L60 unless your going boost trust me the 4L80 makes them really slow unless you have alot of power and really short gears like 4.56's for an na setup
@@nc_g8gt call the company for the tq converter and tell them your vehicle and cam specs. They will get you the perfect stall based off what you have and want out of it
It’s the game you play when you modify vehicles. Check engine light due to no cats abs lights due to messing up a sensor when lowering It and the airbag light well it was on ever since I bought the truck
The tuner could have fixed that issue if it was the cats. A lot of guys have all the lights on the dash. None of my trucks have lights on. We either fixed the wiring or fixed it with the tune. It's my pet peeve/ dash lights...
Probably wouldn’t be too fun but trust me this truck is not nearly as low as half of these single cabs out there it only has a 4/7 drop there’s people having 6/11 drops or even more slammed to the ground
