In this video I strap the action cam on the chesty and try and make something out of all the footage. We return to a recent job to finish off the central heating pipework runs which have been chased into the floor.
We also first fix a bathroom and take down an old cast iron stack and replace it with a new PVC one. Bailey makes a return to install a gas carcass and we both get stressed in the loft!

Bent some copper the other day and it had been about 3 years since doing so. Thankfully I pulled off the bend a 2nd attempt. Like riding a bike.

I like all the bends, that is not something you see here in Canada often as we use all hard drawn copper and you have to anneal it first so its pretty difficult to bend. Is that somewhat soft pipe then? What is it called there?

Hi. Thanks for watching. Im pretty sure this 15mm pipework has a 0.7mm wall thickness so easy to manipulate. We try and bend where ever we can. Looks better, works better and cheaper .👍🏻

Yes, in the uk we usually use either table y, x or w copper. Y is rigid, x is semi rigid(which is the standard tube we use) and w is soft copper usually in coils(10mm or 8mm).

R250 half hard copper over here. Usually 0.7mm wall thickness nut you can buy 1mm wall stuff. Hard drawn stuff is usually AC over here and its still measured in imperial for some reason. 🤦
