Liking the yandere trope in books, anime, manga and movies is alright. Since half the time they don’t work like an actual person who suffers from OLD. I personally love the yandere trope in fiction. But it is terrifying in reality. Most stalkers are not cute/handsome anime girls or boys who just want to pamper their loved one and get a bit aggressive when others like them. They are sick people who abuse and hurt the people they claim to care about. Real yanderes do not exist. Only abusers. So please remember that. With that said. Good playlist

Let's talk about obsessing over online relationships and stalking people online. Stalking your ex/crush/boyfriend online is scaringly normalised or even considered as good sometimes. It's just controlling but on other hand I understand very well where it comes from, we don't realise much we do online could be illegal and well, just to make sure we still have a chance right-? We just want to be loved by that person... That's extremely unhealthy but this type of thinking is a reality for many. Its true and sad. Having an online relationship is fun and all with the danger that comes with it if you never met the person irl. We feel able to just do, in ways we'd never irl, it's just.. constantly wanting to talk to them, always wanting to be part of their life, etc

Regarding the description- yeah. You have to be careful making yandere content because the community is basically a hell pit filled with teenage edgelords and actually really genuinly sick stalkers. Its the worst on tumblr, try and stay clear if you can.

As someone who was once stalked and obsessed over, please don't be "yandere" or stalk people. It's creepy and you can get in some real trouble for it. It's not quirky or fun, like jeez, it's not cool. I wouldn't come out of my room for a couple months and kept looking behind me wherever I walked. I also had to install locks on my door and windows, it's not cool.

As someone who was very obsessively in love with someone for years, it is not good for your health because after I stopped being so obsessed with the person I realized how fucked up in my head I was, I was always in his classes for years and now I see that he is really rude, disrespectful he is to everyone he dates. So, if you start to get obsessed with someone then get some help and do not stalk them and do not try to make them love you when they do not love you.

As someone who ( due to mental health issues ) has been obsessive/possessive in the past, the whole """yandere""" thing rubs me the wrong way. Why would you want that? Its such a horrible strain on not only the person being obsessed over, but the person obsessing. this playlist really makes me wanna write so ummm as you walk home from work again you cant help the fact that you feel as if youre being watched... as always- you open the door to your house and shut it behind you. you go to your room and change into your pajamas. then you head to your desk and pull out a piece of paper, and write something down on it. you fold it, put it in a letter and seal it with a heart sticker and go to bed. you hear some rustling and wake up, you keep your eyes closed and waych with your ears. you can hear breathing, footsteps, and rustling around the room. you can feel the presence of 1 person in your room. you then feel the presence pick up the letter and leave through your bedroom window. you open your eyes and see the letter gone. just as you planned.. they open the letter they found in your room... "Thanks for protecting me! but you dont have to be so shy.. lets meet sometime?" they blush at the letter.. just to let people know this is fictional and not making stalkers look good i just wanted to write something like this

For those of you wondering, being a ya free is NOT cool. There was a long time, about 2-4 years of my life I obsessed over a boy I knew. I’m 15 now, and still recovering from those events. I “stalked” a boy a year older than me, meaning I saved all his posts and videos, I would steal his pencils, etc. he had to move schools, but I still stalked him online. It was so… controlling. He was all I could think about, like I was just a puppet. Nothing I did was for myself, as my self esteem is badly damaged, I might never be as confident as I used to after that. All of my actions fueled by this “love of my life”. I really was selfish, more for my gain than thinking of him. Eventually when my mom found out I was stalking him online, she made me go to therapy. I’m still going to therapy 2 years later. I’m asexual now😅 So don’t obsess over boys you’ve only talked to in school in your history class kids!
