Here’s my $.02 from one DIYer to another. I’m gonna say undercure. I heard you say “part temp” but I didn’t see you check the part temp with an ir thermometer. You may get away with it on other parts that aren’t flexing, aren’t as thick or that don’t contact another part/hardware but definitely not on something as thick as a coil spring. Heavier gauge steel takes longer to get to part temp same as steel taking longer than aluminum. Remember that your timer starts when you’re at part temp, not when the parts go in. Hope that helps, disregard if you time lapsed through you using the ir. Lol! Kudos for even attempting it my friend. It’s definitely rewarding to know you did it yourself!

Dude go to harbor freight buy a temp gun cost is $20 and you can save yourself a lot of redoing and stripping and prepping parts you might as well put a blindfold on and try to drive your truck or try to get through a day of life without seeing it's pretty much the same concept different metals like aluminum dissipates heat different than steel and the thicker the part the longer it takes to get to desire temp and when it reaches recommended temperature that's when you start time in the oven that's why you absolutely need the temperature gun with this still give you credit for your dedication with everything you attempt to do dyi. and try to help others seems to be coming a dying art so keep doing what you do and keep up the good work and get a temp gun LOL

I’ve had a couple other people tell me it was under cured. My own fault I’ll be buying the temp gun next!

@@AaronCates yeah I know that you know that you need a temp gun and what to do to prevent a mistake you're making these videos and showing us the mistake not to make by going through the process and showing us what happens with mistakes just helping us learn to be better at DIY projects do's and don'ts of the trade and I do appreciate that more than anything hope other people can see it that way as well you probably already have a temperature gun in your drawer over there just not ready to give us that lesson for another video or so respect the process I do so keep up the great work keep doing what you do

Aaron i have a couple questions. I have a 80 on 42s. What size spacers are you running and are they 8x6.5 bolt pattern on the outside or something different? Also where did you get your springs and buckets. The links you posted for lift and springs are inactive. Thanks bro! Lookin good!
