You're the Messi of Power BI! 💯 I just found your videos and they are fantastic.😎 You transform science into art. Please continue to create these videos. 🙏 Thanks!! 🙌
Started using figma after watching your videos, and even I can't believe the dashboard UI I'm creating now. My power bi reports look out of this world unreal.. Thanks for the videos. Please create more of this great content👍👍👍
omg just found you and have to say thank you so much. Not only a fast video of creation, but also a tutorial AND downloadable file. You truly understand how to provide value
phenomenal ! Great inspiration i get each time seeing one of your works ! i've been focusing on app like deigns in power BI and the clients are more engaged when the design is attractive ! Bravo !
Thank you for this, it really helps making the PowerBI dashboards more appealing. While it's not easy to get to your level, I'm sure I'll get there given enough time to practice.
Youre welcome. I'm also still learning this stuff and I think you can have above average design skills (among power bi developers) in a fairly short time. The bar is not too high haha. Of course to become an expert takes years, Im also not even close. But it's also not necessary for creating awesome dashboards.
May I ask if you have a separate tutorial for the measures created in the report? That would be GREAT help. I would love to see more details of how the measures were calculated.
Thank you so much for this Zsolti, probably the best visualization tutorial on RU-vid. When it comes to Midjourney /imagine prompts , what keywords would you recommend for power bi dashboard examples ?
Wow thanks :D For the images in the video I used prompts like this: "ui design for sales dashboard, title on top, bar chart top left, bar chart top right, map visual bottom left, linechart bottom right, consistent design scheme and color scheme, light ui, ux, ui/ux" My experience was that if I leave it more vague and leave more room for the AI for interpretation, it delivered better results. This was however a couple of months ago with Midjourney v4. I think they changed Midjourney v5 so that you have to write rather in full sentences instead of just listing attributes. Also I think we need to be more specific now what we want when prompting. I'm interested in this and plan to do a video about it when I figure out something.
are the displayed data you are switching in between the "state" and "manufacturer" state in the "rating" folder pre-saved data in the form of static picture over different bookmark? or are they realtime data fetch from the data source? sorry i was skimming through and do not have time to go through the entire video.
At the beginning I learned from books. My first book was called Supercharge Power BI and it covered overall the specific areas within Power BI. Then I would focus more on one area at a time. I prefer books over video courses, because they are more comprehensive and for me it's easier to follow. After finishing a generalized book I would deep diver as follows: -Data modelling -> especially star schema, relational data models. You can google a lot of information about it. More advanced would be the book Datawarehouse Toolkit. -Visualization & Storytelling -> I highly recommend the book Storytelling with Data -DAX -> Book called The Definitive Guide to DAX. This is the holy bible of DAX, but more advanced -Power Query -> Book Master Your Data with Power Query You can also go on Google/RU-vid and look for specific topics.
The bookmark you created for the filters: can you select a filter and then close the bookmark? Because I have the feeling that if you close it, everything will be reset so the filters wouldn't be actually applied (unless the filter box stays open).
Thank you so much for sharing this type of visual. This is exactly what i was looking for ! I'm a begginer in using Power BI, and this style is totally the kind of visual i like to use !
Thank you. Cool video. If you use styles and components in Figma, it will allow you to quickly make many identical elements (for example, buttons) and manage their change from the master component.
hey you are right, it was the wrong link! I changed it and here is the correct one: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-_SyPODmVENnj2wTg3tzowqvKIwToZnt?usp=sharing
Of course,it took me 3 hours to complete it step by step(cuz I’ve watch ur previous videos it was easy)and more importantly ur comments in some measures was impressive cuz I could understand the whole story behind ur dashboard, May I use this color and method on my project?☂️
Congratulations on the content, I'm learning a lot from your videos. I'm trying to create a chart with productivity results only on the maximum date to achieve this visual effect with marks only on the last date with a value, but I can't seem to do it in any way.
Very very good!! you are a machine! One question! do you know how to hide the page menu at the botton of the report? I am getting crazy with this PROBLEM
Really like your work. You keep it really clean, simple but looks are aesthetic. Can you guide on figma tutorial for beginners to design dashboard, it would be really helpful.
More tutorials are about to come but as starters you can check this beginner's Figma tutorial with Power BI :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nVnj2C-alhE.html
Is there any way we cab export a particular visualisation as a image format? I use photoshop and I want to hage completed control over text and design and using Power BI is a huge pain for me. In tableau its available 😢
just discovered your RU-vid channel, and I'm already a huge fan of your work! Congratulations on the quality of your content and for sharing it with the community. the Figma file you shared in the video below is incredible, and I'm actually using it to create a Power BI dashboard for a close friend of mine. I've been trying really hard to create a similar panel, but with a "light" format, something like a creamy color palette, but I just can't seem to get it right... there is any easy way to do that? also, do you have any video biulding a figma for power bi mobile layout? Thank you so much!
This is really cool and thanks for all the offerings here. Happen to know if you could make the filter dynamic? Looks like it only does the filtering on the 'Sales' section. Is there a way to create one filter dropdown option on one tab and yet another on the other tab and bring you back and forth between tabs? Can the filter options within them be different too?
If I understand you correctly, to switch different filters on different tabs, you need to create bookmarks. Or maybe you could use field parameters like in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nWgPynP9XDM.html
Ola, Gostei muito do Video Aprendi bastante Obrigado por compartilhar o conteúdo. Achei muito Top essa ideia de usar Ideias do AI, forte abraço do Brasil.
@@yourownkpi In the Sales New page, under the YTD by category - Revenue difference. Urban value for PRY is -19.8M which is not aligned with current year
Thanks for pointing it out, it was my mistake. The delta PRY differences werent's sorted by the revenue as the revenue bars. I updated the download file.
Yes. For eg in figma all charts are in ain't dashboard right. I also learnt single dashboard. I noticed multiple dashboards are in your phi. So I asked is multiple dashboards were necessary or it was made multiple for explanation (client asked for multiple dash board). I don't have experience or worked on project. These crucial things was necessary for me.
I did this dashboard in school and it was my decision to show multiple dashboards. It depends on the requirements. I wanted to have one topic on one page (Sales and Units Sold numbers) and another topic on another page (Product ratings). YOu can decide whether to fit things into one dashboard with less detail or create multiple dashboards. As said, it dependd on the business needs. I usually like to have less visuals each page, so it doesnt get overcrowded and it's easier to focus on one thing at a time.
Good job, this is awesome! Can you explain how you made the chart with the predictions in 09:00? The dotted line after the marker was very interesting but I couldn't apply it even with the tips in DAX =/ Ty!!
Thanks for this video. I feel that I learnt tons of skills in 34 minutes The things I learnt - How to get inspiration - Design: Backgrounds, shadows, lights, masks, gradients - That space for the buttons 🔥🔥 - Have your color palette and just pick up the colors from there with the dropper - Some power bi stuff I didn't know it was possible like replacing the button backgrounds with your buttons from figma
