This was probably the best video describing your build and the trials of it. Lots of info! Sounds almost like my current build. My 97 is same as yours but 5 speed. Current spare engine im building is 030 reman from Cummins Hamilton cams stage 1 head 165 springs (Being o ringed now) stock cam- hopefully its going to work with this setup. ARP studs, bd 1045410 compound setup - RT700 Towning/race.. adjustable AFC plate, 4 k spring kit.. overflow valve,delivery valves, bosch 150 hp injectors, 165-4G air dog, south bend 2 disc clutch, aftermarket input shaft on trans.. hopefully it makes 700 hp... lol. Keep the videos coming.

Great video, I own an 05 cummins and two friends one with the 24v p-pump and another with the common rail with the small he341 turbo. . I upgraded my stock he351cw turbo with the performance extended tip billet stock "drop in" 60mm wheel, and 67/76mm turbine. With intension to go compound later. So I like videos like this. (I also rebiult my 48re transmission myself) those guys are awesome at PDD

Awesome truck!!! I’m in the states. Washington state!!! I too have a 12 valve.. 94 sclb single rear wheel. Your an inspiration. Just done complete front end. Synergy steering and lift kit. And red head steering box and brace so far.

Always enjoy seeing your videos on your truck, you know it well and the specs on it. It's neat to hear your impressions of it. Good job for tackling it all yourself, and in such a short period too. Think I've commented before that we have similar setups, they really do make for good daily drivers. You can eat Teslas for lunch on the freeway! Haha. Don't know if you've driven many other diesel pickups before, but it's hard to beat a 12v. Had a 7.3 before and you cannot even compare performance, in particular, the low end driving around town. Hope to see more, hopefully some footage of it running & driving.

Sounds like you need to move to Idaho; we love diesel Cummins power plants. We definitely would give you thumbs up, unless you cross the path of a Californian that moved here; killer truck. Damn impressive. My son and I built his 2002 24 valve Dodge 5.9L Cummins using compound Garrett turbos with 200 HP over BD Diesel injectors, fire ringed pistons with an Air Dog lift pump, plus a Colt "Big Stick" Stage 3 cam (181/210 degrees), and a billet phat shaft 47RE Transmission. The truck was completely transformed into a powerful daily driver, and tow rig with a 5 inch turbo back straight pipe exhaust for managing EGT's.

Great set up great video thanks for sharing one word of advice get rid of that fram filter they’re notorious for falling apart and ruining these engines. Gino’s garage has a great variety of filters I recommend fleet guard

I almost bought the cam you have but I went with the 178/208 tow cam I'm building my engine right now and want all my power down low i also dropped a 6.7 crank in it bored 40 over non intercooled big bowl pistons it should be a beast I'm going to try my timing around 14 to 15 degree because I'm like you I don't want a high revving engine just a down low toque monster lol

Change the gear Ratio in your differentials to compensate for those 37 inch tires and your power band and usability will come down where you want it

How much boost were you making when it blew a head gasket?

Don’t use Fram filters! They are junk.. almost every frame filter has rust in it right out of the box.. they are well known to be one of the worst filters you can use .. even power driven diesel has said in videos to never use a fram filter.. use Napa gold if you need to pick up a filter locally. Great truck man it looks fantastic you did an awesome job. Now you just need to move to the country where everyone will give the truck the love it deserves!

I installed this kit and no matter what I do I can’t get more than 20psi of boost pressure I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I put a plug in the s372 boost port but besides that I don’t know

What do you for mpgs for towing and city driving

Problem with charge pipe not fitting intercooler is regular cab vs extended cab, on one motor sits more forward then the other. Trust me I could swear they were identical not until I compared them.

What size lift and tires are you running on your single cab dually

What head studs are you running? ARP 2000?

Do they offer this kit for a 24-valve Cummins 2000
