Dude, you just saved me a S*%t ton of time and frustration!!! I'm about to dig into a couple electrical nightmares, and the knowledge I gained watching your video will serve me well, this I know! Thanks for the video!!!
I own this and never understood how it worked. The instructions suck, this is the best display of how you find A broken wire! This has given me a new outlook for my job. Rodent damage is commonplace (washer pumps hitch harnesses etc)
...um....raise your hand if you were following him well up until the last 3/4 of the vid then just suddenly got lost on his explanation and the visuals there...w.t.h.?... ...hunh?? I'm getting an {F} on my test. lol!😅
You clearly are an advanced user..... but you need to use the "sense LOCK " button ; you focus in on the probed or problem wire then lock that signal to the transmitter; any of the other wires will not interfere with the signal so long as you "calibrate" the signal from the very start. One push of the lock button at the start and it will only follow the probed or monitored wire.
I'm going to purchase this product thanks for the video. If I need to trace a wire back to the computer PCM do I have to disconnect it from the PCM so it doesn't cause problems?
i think you would have to input the signal one wire at a time but he is not explaining it that way. In other words you desensitize one wire and trace it, then if you don't find the break in that wire you go to the next wire and input the signal and trace that wire, and on and on.
Yes everyone gets this thing and think it dosent work but in reality they don’t know how to use it. This is huge for the people that thought it dosent work power probe should pay you for this because a shit ton of people send these back because they think they don’t work.
