One thing I learned is to scan first before wasting time disassembling a vehicle's interior. Shorten labor time by letting the power probe 3000 locate the exact location of the source of the problem.

@@alexclark6884 I was thinking, maybe we just can’t see them because the cameras digital. But if you say yours is doing the same thing but it’s not because of the camera

The transmitter can only show directions with a short circuit. ...Manual says this, and seems to imply (if not state) it's due to no path to ground to enable direction finding (if it's an open circuit that you're troubleshooting). (...For an open, directional arrows seem not so much of an issue since you can easily test along a harness to see where the open signal tone and single-led light indicator turns off at the break in the circuit...)
Just you need both cables leads connected + and - from de battery terminals it's doesn't matter if you have connected to the vehicle because the ECT3000 has the voltage from the battery with the 5v converter tracer inside
@@danielscustoms13 RU-vid videos say that if the user wants to find the ect3000 open circuit... After disconnecting the car's battery + terminal... Connect the two ect3000 + - lead wires to the battery... and find the open circuit..
