I remember watching the video of when it happened in 2022 and was shocked they filmed several scenes from Season 1 of MMPR at a park I know in California, the same one where you encountered that goose.
Been watching power rangers sicne 2000’s and first watched lost galaxy and more new series since and evey now and they even to the recent Dino cosmic fury!!( and Japan super sentai since 2014!
I used to watch yall all the time when I was in 1st grade and I just graduated high school! It’s good to see yall going strong! Wishing yall nothing but success
Thank u, my friends, for showing me. My favorite childhood show and locations. God bless the power rangers, actors, and actresses. And may the power protect us all.
The tour reminds me of tours I did across Israel. Lots of ancient and more recent historical sites all around, lots of driving, and almost everyone has heard of what happened at each stop. So I definitely appreciate the value of the bus tour. I legit always assumed the footage for KO-35 was from sentai, and had no idea it was a site in CA. Cool!
LA looks so beautiful, I’ve always wanted to go to those locations and the convention but I sadly live too far away, it looks like a lot of fun.👍 it’s nice to see this footage again, the goose is still feisty!😂🪿 I remember that PMC promo you guys made, it’s so nostalgic!😊
I did the tour in 2018. Most of the stops got canceled but we got to do to the command center location and it was pretty great to be there. Getting to see the other locations is the only reason I’d consider going to another PMC. I really want to see the park locations and vasquez rocks.
Oh, 2018... that was Anaheim. I remember there was some issue with a bus breaking down? 😕 This year they're going to the command center again, same park as where the goose tried to kill me, pretty sure, and the rocks. Such a cool location. I'm sure everyone knows the Star Trek scene. They also filmed the The Flintstones movie there. Well, and a ton of other music videos, tv shows, movies, photo shoots, etc. Very famous area. Like being on another planet.
Really wish I could have gone on the tour in 2022. Did get to do the breakfast though, had breakfast with Cosme Flores, aka Ben from Beast Morphers, really cool guy. Sadly can’t afford to travel all the way from England to California this year, times are tough. Hope everyone attending this year has a fantastic time!
As someone who still has a scar from a swan bite from when i was a child. I can tell you approaching that goose is a bad idea. Fyi I just got in it's way after some ladies pissed off the swan
Sorry to hear that. 😕I specifically had the goose bite me for the video, being bitten by a belligerent goose is always funny. They're not going to hurt you. Just be gentle. You can go to lots of safari/petting zoos and be surrounded by a hundred of them. There are pellets you can feed them, they'll come right up to you and take them out of your hand. A child and a swan are a totally different story. I was at a garden here in PA a few years ago and I said something about a swan's mother and he didn't like it. I thought he was going to follow me to my car... not sure I'd want to get into a thing with him. Duck pond ducks and geese you'll be fine with.
Before Power Rangers, that was probably what Vasquez Rocks was best known for. Tons of shows, commercials, films, music videos, and photo shoots have happened there.
Wouldn't surprise me if at least one Transformers show (strictly the cartoons) had an animated representation of that location, too. Ditto for other animated offerings over the years.
Very fun! I'd certainly recommend visiting some PR locations to any fan. There are tons of them all over LA. The field trip is great for people wanting to go in a group of other fans and not have to find these places on their own. It's a lot of driving for people not familiar with LA.
Thanks for letting us tickets are available for those events. I’m booked for both the tour and breakfast. For the first time in forever I’m going back to power Morphicon 😂😂
I'm still trying to go there but I'm going to Rangerstop Pop in Atlanta Georgia this weekend and Morphinominal Expo in Texas this August. Hopefully there will be another and I'll save next time for sure.
I think it's a pretty fun experience if you're a fan and you're into seeing actual locations in person and taking some photos (and going with a group of other friends and/or PR fans).
i wanna go the trip to so badly please ? i never see the power Rangers tour for a long time forever ? I wish they come to see me in Boise Idaho please ? give chance and I know so far away I love so badly ps From Brad Huckstep keep me posted ?
Those poor neighbors seeing a bunch of folks dressed in PR outfits posing in a ally. We know what it is but they dont lol. Also having breakfast with Ranger actors must be both mundane and so cool!
I'm confident worse things have happened in that alley than PR fans walking through 😉 I vaguely remember some residents being interested and talking to some of the cosplayers...
@MMPRtoys that comment sounds both ominous and hilarious at the same time lol. Maybe the residents are used to it then. Wife: "Babe look another MM Green Ranger cosplay." Husband: "Eh. Call me when you see a Ninjor cosplay." Lol
Wishes and dreams are a good start! You can also think of them as goals. What do you need to do to achieve your goals? PMC has been going since 2007. It happens every other year to give fans a chance to make plans and save up. I know California can be far (and expensive) depending on where you live, but every huge fan of PR should try to go at least once. If CA is really too far for you, there are a lot of other cons around the country that also have pretty impressive guest lists.
Direct links are *always* in the video description! I'm only able to link to memberships, you'll have to scroll in the little box down to fieldtrip/breakfast.
The House of the Book is a Jewish temple. It's a large campus that includes numerous structures as well as a summer camp. That building is a performance hall, used for filming, and as the name indicates, there actually are books in there too. No Zordon though.
I cant believe its been decades crap i remember just turning on the tv and watching shows when the power rangers came on i was hooked i had seeen nothing like it except vr troopers I remember getting the game for the movie and toys crap rip to the yellow and green/white rangers 😢
One day I hope to be at powermorphicon ( and one day the tour I hope)in person Bruno, ( until then only in my dreams ) it’s mainly because I live on the east coast plus I’m usually worn out from June and July by the time August comes around. See if the megazord is friendly now and maybe he’ll get you guys out of the desert of deispar if not then best of luck with getting your ninjetti powers guys. ( and watch out for tengas/tengus ) ps Mia keep a very close eye on Bruno at powermorphicon, mostly in case you run into random desert swords again.
2:17 and Pasadena and towns around la, akak middle class suburbs, aka which was used for angel grove + la city, even for morphing scsnes for city battle and megazord battles
I thought the command center was fake. I thought it was set up in a big room. Thank you very much for this video. One day I would like to take a trip there. Thanks again.
@@MMPRtoys I found out months after moving in. I was re-watching old episodes and almost spit my drink it out when I saw my building on Power Rangers. That was actually my second time living in MacArthur Park. I love it there BUT! It has is massive up and downs. They clean it up for a few years, then it goes to hell for another few years. Rinse and repeat. When season one was fresh on TV, I actually lived five minutes up the street.
@@thedrunkweddingphotographer Oh how funny. In my first CA apartment I'd go on walks in the area, and I'd always pass this parking garage that reminded me of Time Force, when Quantum Ranger got his battleizer, which was how I referred to that area. Maybe 10 years later or so, I realized there was a good reason it looked familiar. It WAS the location. That whole area was a fairly common location. Only took me a decade to realize. 😀 Had we lived there years before, Jerry would have often seen Power Rangers from his office building. (His office building was also used as an exterior in an X-Files episode).
You can always check past videos to verify questions. In this very video I said it was a look back. This is a new version of an old video. It's the 2022 field trip, which I've re-edited and added new things to, creating a new video from an old one with current information for the upcoming convention, breakfast, and field trip. And of course, nothing is more in the spirit of Power Rangers than using stock footage.
Indeed. Season 1 filmed the Juice Bar and the Command Center on a stage, the House of the Book was almost always just stock footage, and they also had a miniature of the building as well, used in a number of those shots. But, you could totally picture Zordon sitting in that empty tube area. 😀
Right, it's a Jewish temple and private property, they have guards. Somehow some fans sneak up there and get lucky, but others get turned away. If you're in CA and going to PMC, the tour is a great way to get up there.
You should certainly watch them, you'll be able to spot all of the differences. The MMPR movie was its own thing, then they came back with the show and did it again but differently and with some different characters and costumes. No Ivan Ooze on the show, Ninjor instead of Dulcea. Filmed in California vs Australia, etc. CG Zords in the movie, Kakuranger footage in the US. Season 3 is on RU-vid for free on Power Rangers official if you haven't seen it (or haven't seen it recently).
Kinda on topic, but I didn’t know that you got the Master Morpher man. I was fortunate to get mine on release day last year after PulseCon, cause I knew that an item like that would sell out fast.
Oh yeah, it was in some of our past videos. Always worth watching in full, sometimes I cover multiple things in the same video. That's been on the channel a few times now.
Hey Bruno & Mia take a look at big bad to store they have a new SMP figure out on pre order, it’s Victory Mars from Go Go V. And plus this is so on my bucket list to meet all the ranger actors
I don't even notice. There's 30 years of Power Rangers, 50 of Sentai, new toys keep coming. I'm still not caught up on Super7 (trying though!) There's honestly just so much to see and enjoy. PMC's still happening. For a while, Power Rangers is going to be what fans make of it. We really started growing this channel the last time PR was cancelled and presumed dead. The fandom was in a different place. There was a lot of joy and enthusiasm at PMC2 despite believing the show and toys were done.
MMPR has a Choke on PR that the show and merch got stagnant. I want a New Timeforce, SPD content. But it can'thappencause of MMPR's Tight grip. @MMPRtoys
@@WindyREDPanda MMPR has a tight grib b/c the masses have voted for that with their viewership and wallets over literally any other season, which is really a shame b/c there are so many great seasons. Am I the only one seeing how SPD & Dekaranger aren't being ignored though? We got a full team of SPD in the Lightning Collection, even including A-Squad! Dekaranger was released on DVD in the US. It feels like there are frequently new Dekaranger specials in Japan, various fancy new toys are up for pre-order from morphers to the Shadow Saber. Even if Hasbro made an SPD morpher, you know fans would just say the Memorial Dekaranger SP License was better. Why not just start there then? The mold they use is the one you saw on TV. You're essentially buying a prop. These versions have updated sounds and lights that previously had to be done in post on TV. Such a cool thing. There is SO much content to see and toys to buy, it should be overwhelming, we should all be drowning in options. I see so much complaining. Again, I personally don't have any trouble finding things to watch or add to my collection, honestly, there's too much even w/o Hasbro.
