That’s one hell of a dent you’ve put in that bottle AC! I enjoy this one a lot. I find the lavender profile in this reminds me of Milano Cento Him (slightly). Nice review!👍
Brilliant review, I love Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. I'm going through my second bottle and I prefer it to Dior sauvage. I prefer the edp version of Dior sauvage but Prada carbon is where it's at for me.
I didn’t like it, had to give it away. Smelled synthetic and metallic to me. I enjoy your reviews.I blind bought patchouli imperial after watching your review and am very happy with it.
AC! Great Review as always! This, I adore. It is one of those scents, that just works. I'd rate it probably an 8 in my opinion, but I might say I'm biased as I love to wear it. I don't get many compliments with it, but I love getting a hint of it trough out the day. Cheers, Stoyan
Hi ac I bought this a few year back travelling to Liverpool and damm is it good stuff lots of compliments id tater this than savage and lasts about 9 hours too 😊😀
Hi AC, Have Sauvage EDP & Armaf Ventana which is smoother version of Sauvage.Hence Luna Rossa has been left off from my basket many times. Thanks for the well rounded review.
Hi AC. I recently got my sense of smell back after recovering from Covid. Couldn't smell anything for weeks! Interesting thing is that from my entire collection, the one fragrance I craved to smell in that time was Prada l'homme intense.
My friend, you and blue scents 😳😳What gives? I understand it's a great utility scent but it's too common a dna. When it comes to you my man, I personally expect an olfactory adventure. You know, something unique, daring, something different on the lines of say Aramis Tobacco Reserve, Amouage Gold, Nishane Sultan Vetiver etc. But hey I love you brother, as always.
@@SmellsGoodfragrancereviewsthe ladies love blue scents. As much as I personally enjoy complex scents, I live in a world of reality. The hundreds of scents I own I am true to myself when I venture out amongst the ladies. When I’m 70+ I will sit back and discuss the complexities of the frags I don’t wear🤷🏾♂️
This was yet another fantastic review my friend! Wonderfully described and clearly defined. I actually have this fragrance and I find it to be superior to Sauvage as well. To be fair, I feel that I should mention that I have smelled all of the forms of Sauvage and I am simply not a fan of any of them. To me Carbon takes the cake in my opinion. What's also funny is that I have another fragrance inspired by Sauvage and that is The Pride Of Armaf. It's also much better than Sauvage in my personal opinion. I went back and checked for a review that you may have done and I couldn't find one, so please allow me to recommend it to you. And, as a bonus, The Pride actually comes in a fantastic box with a very nice bottle, believe it or not!
Absolutely right my friend, we are aligned on this scent. I havent tried the Armaf yet but since I am not a big Sauvage fan I think I will give it a pass. I like Sauvage Parfum though :)
Another on point review mate! I absolutely love Carbon, i sold Sauvage because of that Prada. The Dior one was too piercing and pungent to my taste. I get a bit of Prada soapy signature in Carbon, the Luna Rossa line is really good especially the Extreme and Black versions. You didn't take a big risk to mention Daniela Andrier as the potential perfumer of this fragrance, who can it be except her?!?😅
@@jasonbenford3427 Mate Prada Amber is a gem of a fragrance, absolutely stunning! I sold my Prada L'Homme because i prefer L'Homme L'Eau a bit more. LR Black is so delicious, put your nose on them!😉
@@chrisscentsillage5321 I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on Amber this Tuesday!👉🏿 I've heard nothing but STELLAR reviews!🎖🥇 After watching a few videos, I think L'homme L'Leau is my forte'!👍🏿 LR Black will be by fall/winter.
Hi AC Had this on today as well, love it nice clean smell. The Tom Ford tobacco oud I think has been discontinued????? So was just wondering what John Varvatos Oud smelled of. I have the Perfume Parlour Tom Ford Oud Wood. That smells divine!!! Ian Taxi 🚕 UK 🇬🇧
Hi mate except Oud Wood all TF's oud scents are discon (Tobacco Oud, Oud Fleur and Oud Minerale if i am not mistaken). OW, OW Intense et TO Intense are the survivors but to me the regular TO is way better than the Intense version, what a shame...😕
I will see if I can hunt down a sample mate. TO is absolute gem of a fragrance in my opinion so its a real shame TF discontinuing it, but you can still get it on ebay etc.
Nice review !!! I was doubting between this Prada and Armaf Legasi, and finally I sell the Prada. For me both are similar modern fougere, but I think the Armaf is more unique. What do you prefer between this two beautiful scents?
You obviously haven’t smelled those two side by side for hours. Like he said, the similarities end after 30 mins. Carbon is much smoother and wearable. If you look at the note breakdown, they aren’t that close at all. FYI, the term carbon refers to the earthy qualities when you combine metallic notes, coal, soil tincture and patchouli, which have NOTHING to do with sauvage.
@@jasonwalter8636 yes I have, I own both. It is sauvage & carbon they aren't complex, nor do they change all that much. I agree carbon is smoother, but it still definitely reminds me of sauvage.
