Prado 120 Adventures Ep16: Mundaring Powerlines with WA Prado 4x4

Our first official trip for 2020 was a good shakedown up at the famous Powerline track just outside of Mundaring. We had a great day for it, though the tracks were very dry. Lots of action in this one, with all of us looking to push our rigs and enjoy what they were made to do. Enjoy!

Hi everyone too good video and thanks for uploading i am the new owner of prado 120 2009 year i can say i fell in love with the car even though i only own it for 2 weeks. I can't wait to go out on the field to see what he can do. good luck to all toyota owners from Croatia,europe

Was very hesitant on that rear bar the 4.0L 120 series when I saw it online but after seeing it on a silver prado out on the tracks it looks mint! The back rear panels really don't look too out of place at all, great video and thanks for the upload!

Hey Todd. Can you find out a bit more info on the silver 120 with the black Bullbar without driving lights. I am interested in what suspension it is running as it flexes like a boss.

Hey mate com you tell me the mods you did to your engine?. Is it a 4cylinder or V6 engine?? Is this the GXL version of the Prado??

Hi mate, this is a 3.0l 1KZ-TE Turbo diesel engine in my 2004 GXL Prado. All the info I have on my engine work is in my Rig Rundown video I uploaded previously, it will have more precise information for you there.

When you put it in neutral and put it in LL don’t you feel a slight stiffness

Yup his is the first 150 in Aus I've seen with 35s. Id like to be the first in WA to have 35s on a 120

If the exhaust notes were worth listening to, I would drop the music volume a bit more. But a 4 cylinder diesel revving doesn't really have the same appeal as some of the bigger engines out there, so I kept it consistent. Plus there was a lot of background noise that day so it wouldn't have been clear.
