I accidentally left out a five minute old drip coffee on my porch, two cops pulled up knocked down my door and tackled my ass, had a "warrant" for my arrest or sumthin, remember kids keep ur house and ur record clean
WTF! Me too! Except my commie friend touched the flag and it turned into the pride flag!!! 🤬🤬🤬 I thus proceeded to civil forfeiture his soul with my thoughts and prayers.
feel free to move out. My family was being executed in Poland in 1937, they fled to USA where youre allowed to have guns to kill people trying to kill your family. Feel free to leave. Freedom of speech does not mean you can sit in USA and say its the worst place on earth. Bye bye
3 tips for getting pulled over : 1. Acknowledge that you will not win. Cops can and will physically harm you and get away with it 2. Film. Record. If at all possible/safe 3. Shut up.
To elaborate on the shut up, only speak if necessarily. Do not give them information they don't need. If you do get arrested invoke your right to an attorney.
4. know your rights and make sure the cops know you get it. Cops are less likely to exploit you if you're filming and explicitly stating what they are/aren't allowed to do. They don't respect you, but they might be scared of repercussions enough to leave you alone.
Literally the only two things any political leader should be focusing on rn besides reducing crime ^^ -OH WAIT a better education system leads to less crime 🤯- Everything else is irrelevant and if that isn’t the leaders main focus they suck ass.
Duh. Men are perfect at birth and need no help. They have giant dongs, always funny, 2,000,000 IQ, knowers of all objective truths, the most rich and talented, and the most humble. 100x these attributes if white. 👻
@@heunam3593to be fair that was the most shocking part of this comment, I’ve been doing some research on that, to try and find evidence of women being able to speak. There’s nothing I hate more than a lack of facts and evidence.
@@Maya-Hayden I don't blame them for the lack of data tho, it's really hard to find anything at all. I'm not even sure if they're are even real, very elusive creatures those men of wo.
masculinity isn't toxic is so funny to me because conservatives apparently dont understand adjectives. its like saying 'contrary to popular belief, lemonade isn't pink!' its like. no one was saying that. no one was saying that lemonade *had* to be pink omg
What stuck out to me is they also point out toxic masculinity in their own video. In the strength section they talked about being too aggressive and eager to fight making you look stupid. My guy!! How do you quantify self awareness and then have it in three digit negative numbers?!
They also think "black lives matter," means "only black lives matter," which just shows you that they are so racist, that they can't see anything to do with black people in a positive light,
Of course. Washing your butt as a dude means you have to touch a man ass, which *obviously* means you are super gay, don't you know?(legit there are men out there who think this way and I deeply pity any naive women they dupe, manipulate or coerce into washing their nasty skid marked chonies).
with the terrifying amount of Reddit posts I’ve seen about straight men not wiping their asses because Gay™️, yes. I think there is genuinely a type of man that thinks practicing basic hygiene is a little too fruity 💀
@@astoriarego8304pig* Plus, I’d recommend not making any sudden movements or noises as they may attack unprovoked, they usually refuse to give up fights so try to mock surrender so they think they’ve won, otherwise good advise!
as a communist, i am actually totally fine with the meme of "dont let the dirty commie touch the flag" because in reality it backfires in their face and really says "you cant believe in the fundamental progression of human equity while touching this flag with honor" which historically is very accurate
The problem is that PragerU wants "communist" to mean "anyone who wants government to do science-based decision making or environmental protection, as well as anyone who opposes corporate welfare for large, already profitable, tax-avoiding fossil fuel companies".
Real question tho, why does everybody from communist countries that escape speak of the horrors of communism? I’ve never heard anything good about communism
@@NPX22 Obviously the tiny minority who leave are going to be the unhappy ones, but what "horrors?" "The communists made me free my slaves," or the blatant lies like "in North Korea they have to push the trains?"
Don't lie to a cop. Because that would mean talking to a cop. Just stay quiet and say as little as possible beyond what's required. Being cordial about it can protect you even if *they* don't deserve it.
Be cordial especially if they don't deserve it. If it becomes a bigger incident you want as much of your local community on your side as you can get and the odds are already stacked against you by default.
Also the dutch women in the Dutch resistance that seduced Nazis to lure them to the woods to kill them. AND since I didn't remember the details and ended up googling random keywords, I ended up learning about Franceska Mann, a Polish-Jewish ballerina that was put in a concentration camp. She managed to get a gun from a guard, and fatally shot him and wounded another guard. That kickstarted a rebellion with the other Jewish women with her, and they attacked the SS men. Unfortunately, all the women did die, but they definitely bloodied those men, and one guy got his nose torn off and another got literally scalped.
I love how it insinuates that the communists were just super masculine and the Nazis were a bunch of femboys y’know? Especially since that’s the stereotype of communists.
i love how every video of a conservative being like "how to women" they say stuff like "allow yourself to wear makeup and dresses and be a mom" as if anyone has ever asked "but if im feminine how am i supposed to do traditionally feminine things!?!??!?"
@@screameureka7029It definitely is a thing that women get shamed for being feminine as well, like the Barbie movie said somehow existing as a woman you're always doing it wrong but PragerU has no concept of that nuanced discussion.
Children are smarter than that, but they also know when to act stupid if they are around dangerous adults, which means right wing adults like the Prager U people.
47:17 is fascinating to me. “That’s my purse, I don’t know you!” Is a quote from King of the Hill. A show that openly supported queer people, immigrants, disabled people, and so much more not off the top of my head. Conservatives are truly fascinating little beasts
I remember the King of the Hill bit! Bobby took a women's self-defense class, and it turns out yelling this phrase and kicking a guy in the balls ends every fight. It defeats every bully. Hank learns to accept his son, even though this seems pretty gay to him. Real HankHeads know this.
PragerU's "comedy" is just out-of-context references to funnier things. The context of the joke doesn't matter, and it drives me insane. It's Doug Walker/Nostalgia Critic comedy. It's the idea of a joke, without the joke.
"my limbic system flares up when you go near a child" is such an incredibly distinct feeling that I've never been able to narrow down but omg these actors have it just radiating off them
I havent gotten to that point yet but this does raise a question in me: is there a wealth class within the furry community and is the quality of the suits important to the identity as well?
@@breathoffreshair7795there’s definitely a wealthier part of the community but the quality of a suit gives the maker a good name but if it’s handmade and clearly made on a budget majority of the community doesn’t care Majority of the community doesn’t even have suits as they can get so expensive and time consuming and they’re just as welcome at cons and such
my super left-leaning and really chill eighth grade history teacher once whipped out a prageru video for us to watch in class, and the tonal whiplash from run of the mill leftist to denis prager himself teaching us was crazy. i’m convinced mr history teacher had no idea wtf prageru was and just wanted to show us an educational video about the constitution. which brings me to my point that it’s legitimately scary that kids and teens like me are being shown this fucked up shit and schools may not even realize that it’s fucked up.
I also had a high school history teacher make an interesting video choice to share with the class. But mine showed us a clip from the Colbert Report about this unhinged man who thought the Denver Airport contained hidden phallic symbols. There were some kids from conservative families in the class, and one of them went to their parents about it, who then complained to the school, and he had to apologize to the whole class and I think something was even sent to our parents about it. Meanwhile, my 15 year old self had already seen the clip in question while watching the Colbert Report with my parents. 😂
Maybe the teacher was trying to show how insanely biased & political prageru is. Also, I read some states are actually putting this garbage in as regular curriculum for elementary age kids. Terrifying.
my first experience getting pulled over (as a white teenager) was the cop aggressively saying he saw me threw a joint out the window. i didn't even know where to get weed - absolutely terrifying. can't imagine what it's like getting pulled over as a black person in this society if that's how i was treated :/
My first experience was with a school cop intimidating me after I brought a knife into school to SH and turned myself in. No follow up on my mental state or home situation. Just intimidation. Second time was when I called the cops BECAUSE of home situation. They watched me trembling in the corner of my room and unable to open my eyes when we went downstairs, heard my story of years of emotional abuse and seriously said…. “You can’t stop your parents from being parents.” I genuinely hate American cops
@@phiLAWsophy women being weighed down while men are lifted up? Surely this could not possibly reflect any part of the nature of their beliefs whatsoever
@@phiLAWsophy tbf, a scale being lower typically means a higher value because there is more stuff there to weigh it down. (more gold, silver, etc) That being said: this is pragerU so I can't assume they know how scales function.
I can't believe they're training people to not get shot instead of training little cops not to freak out over any single thing and k1ll the people paying for their salary.
Yeah, bc cops are just killing people left and right. Nevermind the inner city violence though, that's puppy piss when it comes to the massacre by the police. Lmao
That would require them to change their entire culture, philosophy, and protocol for training police forces. They can't even be bothered to know the law 90% of the time. It's much easier to put the responsibility on the citizens, and everyone knows how much America loves victim-blaming anyway.
@@zenleeparadise exactly, many people don't realize that women are actual a modern invention. Before Make up (commonly referred to as BMU) we only had men and MEN.
@@OfficerZlock plethora of ugly icons today. if your video was good, you wouldn't have to spam comment sections to get anyone to watch it. the algorithm is tough, but this is not the way
The thing where they said the girl looked like Adam Sandler was a reference to a lesbian stereotype‼️ The stereotype is that sapphic girls who are more masc presenting have similar fashion style to Adam Sandler. And as a lesbian who dresses like this. Yes , it technically is true, in some capacity. But I don’t think it’s PragerU’s joke to make.
That’s what I thought they referring to also but it looks like they did not remotely understand the “Adam Sandler aesthetic”. The girl was more like mid-late 2010’s cool girl casual. Like way too trendy compared to the middle school boy meets chaotic thrift store finds of Adam Sandler. At least I think that’s the best way I could describe it but I’d be interested in hearing some others lol.
The really funny thing to me about the embracing femininity video is that it's typical conservative views of women and femininity that made me suppress my desires to be feminine growing up because it was also important to me to be respected and they treat stereotypical women like dolls 🥴
Home ec used to be something you could get a degree in and it was first created as a progressive, feminist thing before it was co-opted into becoming a way to enforce patriarchy and racism. There’s a cool book called The Secret History of Home Economics by Danielle Dreilinger about it. Home ec was used as a way for women to get into academia and the work force not the other way around.
love how you're supposed to deal with a cop pulling you over the same way you might respond to a bear approaching you in the woods "here are a few things you can do to indicate you are NOT a threat to the creature! remember, don't make sudden movements- you might scare it!"
As a woman who was not particularly girly in high school per other people's standards, it is maddening to me that people think "not girly" = "masculine". It's such a narrow and weird way of viewing the world. How someone else dresses or what their hobbies are isn't anyone else's business, and has 0 bearing on their gender.
Fr they treat masculinity and femininity like they’re polar opposites and not two sides of the same coin. Men and Women are more similar than they are different.
As someone who is deeply invested in the Katmai bears, I love to see them get a feature. That live bear cam was such a joy all summer. Y'all should do a Fat Bear Week bracket!!
"If you want to wear pink, wear pink! If you want to wear a fancy dress, wear a fancy dress! If you DONT want to do those things......... I dunno, die maybe?"
I went to a hick midwestern school and we did in fact have to learn how to fold the flag properly and were graded on it 😅 I was so scared to drop it in front of everyone because I thought there would be some kind of insane punishment.
Here's a helpful tip that I learned in driver's ed for getting pulled over: you're allowed to put your flashers on and keep driving to a well lit and well populated area so you feel safe during the police interaction. (At least in Maryland. Check your state's laws)
Gotta love that “Don’t feel guilty if having a career is the right choice… *foryourfamily* Bc of course the only acceptable reason a woman would choose a career is if it benefits her family, not because *she* wants to
32:38 Actually, the way she phrases it, there's no choice on if you want to be a wife/mother or not. The choice was on if you get to be a stay at home mom or a mom with a job. Note how she says depending on your FAMILY's needs. It's even phrased in a way to downplay what your personal wants or needs are. It's super icky.
“It took masculinity to defeat the Nazis” I love how this insinuates that the communists were just super masculine and the Nazis were a bunch of femboys. That’s actually what they’re taught in Germany!
I LOVE that their "how to be feminine" video is like "be the stereotype if you want to be" but them they're the same people who consistently attack stereotypical liberals and are also like "You can't CHOOSE your gender" THERE AIN'T NO WAY THEIR *SECOND* MOST IMPORTANT TIP FOR BEING FEMININE IS "Hey toots, why don't you smile more?!"
i regret to inform yall that my school did indeed teach us how to handle an american flag 😔 Shit abt how youre not supposed to wear the flag or own items with the pattern on it etc. All throughout school everyone would freak out about how if you touched the flag/ it fell on the ground you would have to literally burn it.
i’m sorry what i grew up in multiple highly conservative areas but i feel grateful that this never happened at my school (then again my school did get a flag dedicated to it that flew over the white house so idk if that’s better)
they don't even follow those rules though. back when my dad was a kid, the flag at his school fell down, and he jokingly said that he's going to have to burn it. the teachers did NOT like that. they were so pissed that this "filthy [n slur] loving commie" was trying to ruin their beautiful glorious god-given american flag. (MY DADS NOT EVEN A COMMUNIST, HES A LIBERAL CENTRIST AT BEST. THEY LITERALLY JUST SAW A KID WHO WASN'T RACIST AND DIDN'T LIKE WAR, VIOLENCE OR AMERICA AND EVERYONE THOUGHT HE WAS SOME EXTREME LEFTIST) (tbh i wish that they were right about him being an extreme leftist or whatever, he'd be so much cooler then)
I grew up in florida and went to the rich school district schools and they taught this too, I remember directly opposing those naive and ignorant teachers who would show clear hypocrisies in their “honor” towards the flag and also brining up how their support of the confederacy is terroristic, never disappoints lol
I love how for every point in the Masculinity video they had to say "well, of course, don't do it too much, because that would be harmful. Make sure to do it in a healthy way. This is the whole point of "toxic masculinity". They don't get it.
I love that one of the tips they give for "how to be feminine" is "practice good hygeine" as though taking a shower once a day is something only girls should do
"Make sure you are wearing light colors to calm the officer. If you happen to be ....of darkish complexion, wear pants darker than your skin to prevent the officer from charging at your heart or your brain."
I just realised in Germany I never heard so much about how to act when you're being pulled over. Especially not for children. But I've seen what to do in the US on a German "light science" show. That's just insane
they said, “don’t feel guilty if pursuing a career is the right choice for your family.” like what about autonomy. what about, when a feminine woman just doesn’t want to be married. like why does a family have to be involved
Y’all asked how they hire people for their videos. Prager u tried coming to the career fair at my art college (in lib city LA 😂) in an effort to recruit animators. Their pitch was working for a video production company that’s all about “family values”. I assume most people they hire have no clue until the interview and are so desperate that they agree. the diversity and inclusion board at my school started a petition to get them denied and they were successfully removed from the fair. 41:13
Did you go to Otis?? Because I went there and I remember seeing Prager U attend the virtual fair. Never heard about a petition to get them removed tho, that’s insane
fun fact, they actually do teach flag etiquette to kids. if you are a scout or a safety patrol, you learn it pretty often because you have to hold flags a lot
the way they described how to interact with a cop was similar to how you'd describe interacting with a dangerous zoo animal like a bear. even without realizing it they think these cops are as dumb as actual animals
So true anywhere else it doesn’t matter. In the UK, how we act when pulled over would probably get you shot in America. We generally get out of the car when pulled over and meet the cop rather than waiting in a the car.
In all seriousness, if a highschool has a decent home-ec course everyone should take it. Learninng how to cook for yourself and mender clothing are good skills to have as an adult regardless of gender.
You’re not too far off with the fearful cop angle, that’s what the thin blue line boils down to: they are the only thing standing between order and violent chaos in their minds, and anyone else could be a potential murderer
i genuinely think the reason they have so many subscribers and no views is for 2 reasons: 1) they ran ads that talked about pokemon, a bunch of small children clicked on it and subscribed and then never watched any videos 2) conservatives who agree with their ideology and want to 'support' them, but cant be bothered to actually watch the videos
The femininity video was like they heard the "it is literally impossible to be a woman" monologue from the Barbie movie and thought it was a celebration instead of a critique
