Should the snorkel be removed to run on gasoline? It looks like it would interfere with the choke operation and could also cause the engine to run rich since the air intake is being restricted by it. Thanks.
how much to convert to propane and how long will a 5gallon propane bottle last at approx. 50% load? What Rpm should it run at on idle and under a full load?
Joeak74 ok i will throw out an answer and put on my flak jacket.:) the stock predator 62523 here says it holds 1 gallon of gasoline and runs 6hr at 50 percent load. Specs are 1600w running 2000 w peak thus 50 percent is 800 watts. I use to think 20lb cylinders of LP are like 5 gallons of gas. But really they are more like 4 to 3.5 gallon since cylinders often just have 15lbs of lp :) thus back of the envelope guess is 1 day! Ie 24 hours for that cylinder at 800 watts.
Observation: The tach is laughable. Total waste of money. It is for sales profit only. You can hear the engine can't you? Besides you will likely never look at the tach. Used car salesman trick?
