Why lower on the mavs? I know the end of last season was rough, but I feel very good about their offseason additions, especially on defense. Grant Williams will be able to fill the void left by Dorian Finney Smith and I believe that even if the Mavericks don’t trade for an upgrade at center, Richaun Holmes is an upgrade over Dwight Powell, even if he’s only putting up 12 11 3 stat lines on average efficiency. Their rookies, Derek Lively and O Max Prosper, also look like they can provide valuable minutes and play solid defense. I think they can have a good bounce back season this year barring any major injuries. Not saying that I’m completely right, but I just want to hear your side of things Andrew.
The Bulls will be wayy higher. This man always be disrespecting the Bulls like straight up. They added two 3 and D players in Torrey Craig and Jevon Carter. When this team actually has a point guard they are a playoff team (22-13 with Lonzo) (14-9 With Pat Bev) and we added MUCH needed shooting with the both of those players so Jevon Carter>Pat Bev and DJJ declined his player option,the Bulls acquired Torrey Craig who is actually a PF/SF and can shoot unlike DJJ. I could agree that Ja being out could be tough, but they brought in Marcus Smart to run the point while he’s gone, and have generally done well even if he is out. They may not be the best team when it matters, but they are always gonna be a 50 win regular season team with a second/first round exit in the playoffs.

@@AndrewFenichel I'm less so focused on Bron and AD but rather how much they improved their depth this year with signin Prince, Vincent, Jaxson, and Reddish. Not to mention resigning Rui, Austin and DLo on affordable deals. But I will admit the Lakers do need a reliable backup bigman, but besides that I think they could win 45-50ish games

The Pistons won 23 games with a rookie Cade, no spacing, the best PnR partner was Marvin Bagley, and was forced to play the majority of the season with Killian Hayes. Now we have 3rd year Cade with actual floor spacers like Joe Harris, Monte Morris, Isaiah Livers, Bojan, Sasser, and Burks, he's playing with a MUCH better screen-setter/play-finisher in Jalen Duren, added multiple playmakers to the team like Ivey, Ausar, and Duren, won't have to play with Killian Hayes anymore due to the Marcus Sasser and Monte Morris additions, is gonna play under a MUCH, MUCH better coach Monty Williams, and added more POA defenders to the team like Marcus Sasser and Ausar Thompson. Idk how you think they go under 27.5 wins.
@@amandaread8904 Sadly I couldn't have predicted Monty Williams having CTE and starting Killian Hayes and 3 other non-shooters next to Cade for half the games, Isaiah Livers and Alec Burks turning into Hitler reincarnated and suddenly losing their ability to shoot, and the second best player getting repeatedly injured every time he steps on the court. I now realize in hindsight that Troy Weavers plan of paying non-NBA caliber talent millions of dollars to play basketball is a bad plan.
Mavs are potential top 4 seed. I’ll die on this hill. As long as Luka is healthy and Kyrie is available… and with all the moves my team made, I’m confident they can get just over 45. I’ll say they get 48-51 wins
i disagree with the memphis take. the grizz have won just as much with ja than without him. its just that ja takes the load off everyone else. saying they get under 46 wins is a bit harsh
I have no idea how the jazz would be worse than last season or even close to the same. If they didn't pull the plug after the all star break to tank way too late, that already was an above .500/play in team and their roster is objectively better with the new rookies and getting John Collins for a second round pick (and a year 2 Walker Kessler). Also... What have the Kings done to get worse??

I’m a mavs fan. I’d say we get at least 42, at most 46-47. Depends if Luka and Kyrie work together, and if our young players can preform well (Green, Hardy, Lively). Or just trade Kyrie for some picks and a young star (I’d like to get Maxey or Anfernee Simons) Or a wing, I’m tired of THJ.
