Haven't worked out since I found out I'm pregnant, have been too tired. Finally had the energy to workout and this workout is so pleasant and calm, really enjoyed it. Thank you!
You are so very welcome! You will love the entire 'feeling fatigued' section I have in first trimester in my PregActive Online Studio at PregActive.com
I was quite an active person before pregnancy and at the beging the shortness of breath and energy was really disencouraging to keep up with my daily rutine. At 11 weeks I'm feeling a lot better and this work out is wonderful! I like your calm energy and how you deliver all the tips without it being distracting form the flow.
Oh thank you lovely! And a big congratulations to you! That first trimester can be so energy zapping! I'm glad this workout has helped. Plenty more in my full pregnancy program at PregActive.com
Great to hear you are feeling well and enjoying the class. Please be sure to chat with your doctor about your workouts as you move through each trimester.
7 weeks pregnant here with my first baby and very much loving this work out. 2nd day in a row doing it and I plan to do it 5 days a week for a long time! Love the activation in the hips and pelvis!
That was so goooood!!!!! I'm a little late to the party, at almost 20 weeks. But I did everything, very comfortably. I've been in so much pain and so sick, I haven't been able to exercise at all, except walking and swimming, and this was a wonderful introduction back into the world of yoga/pilates for my achey body!! Can't wait to do this many more times.
My wife got headache on monday and she took paracetamol but it didnt totally help, just lighten the ache but the pain was still there. She had it until the third day and found out about exercising to beat the ache. She redo this pilates once and believe me she said that her headache is all gone! Thank you for making this video, it is a very easy exercise for my preggo wife yet it is like a miracle medicine for her. Going to remind her for the pilates for 2-3 times a week!
Thank you for this, you have such a calm and friendly way of directing, I barely had to look up to the screen and it’s nice to find that exercise in pregnancy isn’t too different from what I was already doing 💕
I’m so happy for you, congratulations on your pregnancy! And I’m so glad you enjoyed this! There’s so much more like this over at PregActive.com ❤️ Kerryn
I’ve been training for 10 years so I really enjoy my routine but I’ve been super nauseous the last 3 weeks and it’s been very difficult to train through or even at all. It was so nice to ease into it this morning with this gentle workout, thank you so much 🙏🏼

Wow! I just found this channel and I am SO GRATEFUL! I’m two weeks pregnant with my second baby. My first pregnancy I received a lot of pressure to give up exercise. I tend to push myself too hard and was constantly told by my doctor and husband to rest. I hated giving up movement last pregnancy, so this time I was determined to change that part. I wanted to find something I enjoyed that wasn’t too demanding or required a bunch of adjustments. I LOVE Pilates and wasn’t sure I could find something suitable for pregnancy, but this was relaxing and strengthening, exactly my cup of tea. Thank you for serving us pregnant women. ❤
Oh Michelle, I'm so happy to hear! Biggest congratulations!! You are most welcome to join us and our community of Mamas over at PregActive.com xx Kerryn

Excellent workout! I have a question. If the pregnant woman has been working out a lot before the pregnancy is it okay to try front plank? I know it’s risky I am also an exercise specialist but I don’t have enough info about pregnancy and just curious about your opinion. Thanks for this great video❤
It is ALL about regulating your intra abdominal pressure. Which, as your belly grows, becomes much harder. My question to you is why do you want to frontal plank? Is it so that you can stay strong in your pregnancy? Is it so you recover quicker postpartum? Is it because you love the burn? All valid reasons, but I'm here to tell you - there's other ways to achieve all of the above that doesn't put unnecessary pressure on your connective tissue (linea alba) and your ever expanding belly. I go through this in detail in both my Pregnancy program at PregActive.com and my Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Certification. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!
Wow i’m 10 weeks pregnant , i just finished this workout , it was so nice not tough but at the same time I feel like i did a pretty good workout, recommended for sure thank you🤍 Cant wait to continue ✨
Thank you for this! I found I got a little nauseous and slightly light headed during the lunges (even though I kept the movements small. The regular wide-stance squat was fine though. Do you think I should probably minimize the regular lunges? Also, side note: you remind me of Alison Brie
I'll take that Alison Brie compliment thank you! ha! Girl, do what you need to do. If something aggravates the nausea, reduce it where you can. Do squats instead or take a breather in the lunges part! Hopefully it passes soon for you! I'm excited for you.. how many weeks are you?
I am 9 weeks pregnant but I’ve been bleeding because of contractions, and had been hospitalized for that. Doctor says I should bedrest. Can I still do this exercise?
Thanks for this workout! I had to throw up partway through- any suggestions to mitigate that? I did the workout on pregnancy week 9 after waking up and having a few crackers 30 minutes or so beforehand.
Pregnancy is one of those things.. it's different for every woman! It might be that you would be better with my 'feeling fatigued' workouts that are within my trimester one program over at PregActive.com as they are more gentle and may be less stimulating for you. It could only be for the next few weeks you feel like this and it could stop happening. The hormones are playing a big part in this for you.
I have been doing Pilates for sometime now with weights and resistant bands. Can I continue using weights and bands now that I am pregnant and in my first trimester just by 5 weeks?
Yes you can, but never over do it! Go to PregActive.com and you will see a full selection of workouts that are safe for you in 1st trimester. Start the free trial and you'll everything!
Hi kerryn I m new. And got impressed by your exercise . I m pregnant. But too faty. My age is 32 height is 5.2 and weight is 75 and want to reduce my weight. What should I do? Plzzzz help me
Hi lovely, welcome! In pregnancy the focus isn't weight loss.. consistency with your exercise and eating a balanced diet will help you to stay within a healthy range. You are welcome to follow my full pregnancy program that includes nutrition and recipes too, check it out over at PregActive.com
How do you ensure that there are no stretch marks and scars while our belly is growing? What do you use ? I will be glad if you help? I am open to suggestions ♥️♥️
There's no one thing that ensures you have no stretch marks unfortunately! I used belly oil daily and kept well hydrated, but it's also about genetics too!
It's exactly why I designed it Harjinder - to help women in their first trimester stay active. I'm sure you'll enjoy this! I guide you week by week through your entire pregnancy over in my Online PregActive Studio, go check it out and start your free trial at PregActive.com ~ Kerryn
Given my delay in replying to your comment (I apolgise!), I'd love to know what you did? Because listening to your body is the most important thing. Everything I provide is safe exercise, so to do this routine in your Two-Week-Wait is generally very safe.
Everyone is different, and what aggravates one person's back pain is different to another. The movements are gentle, but go in with caution for the first few times as you work out what suits you best and what needs to be modified.
Hi Puii, I have designed my early pregnancy workouts to help women stay active, as exercise is so important for you physically, but also mentally. It's important, as always, to be guided with how you feel and the guidance of your health care professional. How are you going at the moment? Sorry for my delay in getting back to you! I have a newborn baby, so a little behind on replies! ~ Kerryn
This workout left me unable to walk properly for days. If you are just coming back to exercise after weeks of exhaustion - PLEASE take it slow and make sure you spend a lot of time stretching afterwards. Particularly your upper thigh (bend leg at the knee back on itself while standing). I have never hobbled so bad in my life!!!
This is a full-body workout focused to help strengthen the muscles that will assist you now in early pregnancy, but also as you grow in your pregnancy! How many weeks are you now? ❤️ Kerryn
Thanks Lauren, yes that was my microphone, and unfortunately I didn’t realise until editing stages. All my more recent videos don’t have this as the issue has been fixed. Apologies, I know it’s not ideal! ❤️ Kerryn
Hi Florentine, I'd recommend 3-5 times a week to do a prenatal specific workout, whether it's the same one or not is up to you! You'll see a full selection over in my Online PregActive Studio at PregActive.com ~ Kerryn
Hi there, and thanks for the comment! It's not so much a 'squeeze' or a 'suck in', it's more about a very gentle engagement of the core. This will help you throughout your entire pregnancy. I go into more detail over in my week by week pregnancy program at PregActive.com I hope that answers your question? Please do reach out if you have more, I'm here to help! ~ Kerryn
❤️ Amazing video! I love that you cue the breathing strategies because I find that many people block their breath when exercising. Do you find that too?
