Eagerly checked my bonds on August draw but sadly nothing... however the first millionaire drawn only started their bond investment in July 2020 and won the million with just £1k in bonds 😳. The second millionaire drawn only had £10k in bonds...just goes to show you don't need to have loads of bonds to win the big one... although obviously the more you have the greater your chances are 😁. Love it when people win big with the smaller amounts 🤩

Im so confused. I have a premium savings bond on a piece of paper and there’s no information online on how to get it

A Premium Bond used to be a nice little gift for new babies/Christening gift etc when you could buy for a £1.00, picked by ERNIE . My Mother in Law bought £10 worth for my son, totally forgot all about it until he won £25 after about 27 years! Nice surprise x

Awesome video Lara! We have a very a relatively small amount in premium bonds for an absolute emergency but choose to invest any money we can save to see greater returns over time. 😊

Thanks so much! Yes, I think that's a good strategy! Once our house deposit isn't needed any more I will not keep as much in ours and stick to higher risk/rates investments x

Wow Lara I learned so much from this video. I had no idea you could access money in premium bonds so quickly. I had always thought once the mobey was in there it was stuck! No idea why I thought that😅 I have the amazing sum of £10 in there which was bought for me when I was born lol😅 I might look into starting to buy some more xx

Great video, thanks! We had a small amount for my son so I’ve just transferred a bit more over as it’s not doing anything where it is now and I’m too risk averse for stocks and shares. Downloaded the app too so I can easily check for winnings 😁

Hey! I took all of ours out so it’s taken a while to build it back up but last month I won £200, £150 the month before, £50 the one before that and then a month with zero :) I use it now to store money for large deposits and then take it back out again. I don’t use it for long term investments but for securely storing bulk payments x

😂 my husband has had £25 in for over 40 years (got them through work) he’s never won a penny. Would we be better to withdraw it and reinvest it, or leave it and add to it?

Hmm, personally for that amount I would probably reinvest it somewhere else, even your pension would be topped up by the government if you put it in there so there’s places where it would work for you more. However, someone did once win a million with only £17 in bonds, so it’s not impossible!! X
