Very well done! Although, I do believe the process is also important, in addition to outcome. We remember our labor and birth experiences and not just the outcome. But education like this can prepare us for getting ready for the different paths and outcomes!
Funny she said “nobody slept through their first labor” with my first daughter I went to bed and woke up at 4:30am I was 7 cm dilated when I got to the hospital and in debilitating pain. After having another I am grateful I slept through half my labor the first time. Praying I’ll do that once again! Lol 😂
Apparently hypertension is helped with magnesium drip. I never understood why that would be an emergency c section. If there is no treatment and that is the only choice ok. But i believe in choice of birth.
I'm curious. I am 40 now and newly married to my best friend, thank God! I am curious as to c sections because my moms on both sides of the fam had them. Am I as the wife (writing on my hubby's account here) genetically at risk for that predisposed or also--does the father's dna from the mom's side play any factor in this? I do have endometriosis and am aiming to have a home birth. We do want to go natural.
something about the way you word the pain of labor and don’t know how to say centimeters makes me dislike this video strongly i couldn’t even get through it
I agree with you! It's important to encourage women in a very amazing time to give birth! The way she worded it increases doubt in our ability to overcome and increases women to be brain washed to want pain meds. Everyone has a choice.
