The stone walls have been standing for over 150 years but have suffered due to use of incorrect materials and neglect. We're going to rebuild them using traditional lime but first need to get the preparation stage completed.

House renovation is thirsty work, especially an old Finca (Spanish farmhouse), so if you would like to buy us a coffee or even a beer, you can do so here: www.buymeacoffee.com/FincaLife. It would be very much appreciated.

About to watch today’s video Andy. Just thought I’d like to say that we think you and Sharon have made remarkable progress on the finca. You are both patient and perfectionists in all you do. We have followed you from the start of this journey and know you’ve never taken the easiest route with the reconstruction of your property. It’s come together so beautifully and you both should be proud of your progress. People who only have criticism to offer in their comments like “. You don’t know what you’re doing” just don’t understand where you’re coming from. You have more to do but what you’ve completed is done tastefully and in keeping with its history. Well done!

Just fantastic results!!! Your 39 years of experience in working with stones and walls is priceless. All of the walls are unique in and of themselves. Your work ethic is admirable.

It’s amazing how different and better the walls look once you expose the stones. Makes you wonder why someone went to the trouble to render them rather then just leaving them as stone. Great work and great patience as always Andy 😀👍

Brilliant work Andy 👏 I would keep the chicken opening open....block the inside but leave the little arch for a light or trailing plant ❤

I would make a movable chicken tunnel or fence areas they can go. My aunt has fence tunnels to areas she allows the chickens.

They are not raising chickens. This little structure was once used for chickens and rabbits by previous inhabitants. In previous videos, Sharon & Andy have said they intend to use this as a bar area.
