so at the end of the day even if u buy “capsule wardrobe” and timeless and thrifted items you still fall into the cycle of hating everything you own and needing to replace your entire wardrobe. there’s really no way out of this !!!!

When I feel like I hate all my clothes, I put on music and do a big closet declutter and reorganize (I tend to organize by color but you don't have to do that). I find that when I go through my entire closet I end up finding pieces that I completely forgot about and it inspires me to style them! I know taking the time to do all that might be quite difficult with a baby, but if you have the time it can be really inspiring :) love your videos and appreciate so much how often you have been uploading!! Looking forward to the next one :)

If you want floral mini dresses, get them! Especially since you’ll be getting them secondhand one way or another. A few new thrifted pieces per season invigorates the rest.

From the ages of 16 to now 21, I had the same closet due to living in a country with no thrift stores and feeling guilty over consumption/consumerism. I'm finally buying clothes again -from whatnot- because, as people, we grow and change a lot and if you feel that you no longer identify with your closet then it's time to change it up. Sell/donate the clothes you no longer like to others and buy/thrift those you do. There's no point in keeping clothes you no longer wear or enjoy. Thank you for another awesome video too

i love how you style your clothes lani, it's very personal and not too ig influencer feels, altho u definitely influenced me with those gingham pajamas 😉 I think your wardrobe is alrdy enough but a couple of cute sun dresses and tops from the thrift would def wrap it up for u. You make me want to love my clothes even more and dress them repeatedly in diff ways. I'd say you're one of those people i like to watch and don't make me want to overspend. much love!!

As someone who is also currently breastfeeding, and probably will be for at least another couple years (sorry I’m one of those lol) I will never be tired of seeing you style nursing friendly outfits, that are still CUTE. cause I’ll be damned if I’m ever buying a nursing tshirt ever again they are so ugly!

i sometimes struggle with the stinky baby tee too - i've found a way around it (at least that is what works for me) sometimes I'll use this dress shields (or underarm pads) some are reusable and stick-on ones are thinner. I'd put them on my tight tops for the summer. I'll sprinkle on alum powder on the shields for extra protection. Another alternative is washing underarms with benzoyl peroxide in the morning.

A bit of advice along the lines of summer prep, if you’re dealing with stinky sweapty pit issues, do a benzoyl berozide pit mask like 1-2 times a week for a few mins before you shower. The smell will go away!! Or lesson lol I swear❤

Natural deodorant is literally just scented. It's supposed to allow your pores to breathe and sweat as they should, so it's a masking scent. If it's not working v well, you may want to switch to a simpler formula. You can mix coconut oil and your fav essential oil/perfume instead.

thrift some basic tank tops in a few cute colors and cut them to the length you like. so easy. they go with anything. perfect for us natural deodorant girlies ☀️ oh and wear your onitsukas with the skims dress!

Summer is the worst for getting dressed for me. It’s like as soon as the temperature goes up I just swell up and stay that way until fall comes and the temp goes back down. And I do not feel cute. At all. I need all the inspiration I can get so thank you so much. ❤ Also, I don’t know what kind of natural deodorant you’ve been using but I am not someone who can just spritz on the lightest bit of something and be fresh all day (I mean who even are those people? Are they even human??) so I have high needs and standards for deodorant. I’ve been using Schmidt’s natural deodorant for a few years now. Even in the hell of deepest, most intense summer heat, it gets me through. Not the spray kind though. That stuff is freaking useless. But the stick deodorant I can totally recommend.

I think the baggy loose pants with the black tank are giving line cook (maybe its just my trauma from restaurants..) BUT i think a bright cropped loosi-ish tee with the loose pants woud make it a lot more fresh. +1 to sundresses. Xoxo from another breastfeeding mama who is clothes impaired at the moment

also for the last pair of striped pants, i would style them in like a beachy (coastal grandma ish) way maybe? like a flowy white button down and cute sandals. maybe a bikini top under neath? i know that may not be realistic and for the gingnam pants i would probably wear one of those short sleeve black mock tops and black loafers to go for a preppy vibe to avoid looking like pjs

the part about natural deodorant is too real. if i wear regular aluminum deodorant it leaves the yellow stains but with the natural stuff i feel gross.. there is no winning with a white baby tee 😓

laini i got the kenzi using your code and im at about 3 weeks of using it on my legs, i dont see visible results yet but i have very thick dark italian hair so i wasnt expecting to see any yet. the manual says to use once a week, which is what ive been doing. would you recommend using it more often than that? i know you said for your underarm you were doing it every day. thanks

hi laini! love the video and i want to put you on something other than natural deodorant cause that never worked for me. Instead use some type of acid after you shower in your armpit area (I use the ordinary glycolic acid) but others work as well. When acid is present on the skin the bacteria which causes the smell won’t survive. Hope this helps ❤️

I don’t know what they are called, but do you know what I mean? Also in my head they do work for breast feeding but i have no experience with that whatsoever lmao
