Most of us are not sick of your new body/breastfeeding talk. When I read the comments, I can see that your journey is so helpful to a lot of ppl. Those of us who aren't breastfeeding may in the future, and this could be helpful then.
I agree! Not sick of hearing about it. It’s a big part of your life, and it’s helpful to see you considering how to account for your lifestyle in what you wear and how you style it because not all fashion content is helping us to consider our actual lives and needs! I also agree that your content, besides being so fun and inspiring, is likely to help other people who may have babies and breastfeed in the future. And I think your attitude of acceptance of the shifts in your body is beautiful and refreshing and hopefully helps to counteract so much of the bogus cultural messaging around postpartum bodies. All that to say, please don’t feel self-conscious talking about baby and breastfeeding!
I also agree!!! I’m not in that phase of my life yet but I looooooooove when a content creator has something I can relate to other than the content I am watching them for!:)) I bet all the fashion girlies that are also new mamas are loving it!!!!!🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
I love love love the gingham dress with the pants. It’s much yeah, but that makes it so unique and so out there and special. Something unexpected is what I absolutely adore about fashion✨
That Peachy Den set is adorable. I love it with the classic cap toe heels. I'd never think to pair the two together. They remind me of OG bestdressed (Ashley I love you lol). OMG the cherry set is adorable, I wish it fit you. I'm a sucker for wearing fruit patterns. I'm so glad you finally found sundresses, you are too cute in them. They suit everyone. When in doubt, wear a sundress.
I love how you open this video- our bodies change through life, and sometimes we literally Need new clothes that fit our new body shape and lifestyle.💖 I have weight gain post-menopause, and have just reworked most of my wardrobe with thrifting hauls. I feel much more confident and Myself now!✨ Edit: Also, very fun to see you style the outfits, and how happy you get when it works!
You’ve heard of monochrome… but Laini invented monogingham. I love how your style evolves yet remains so true to you! Been watching forever and I love reading the comments but for some reason I get so nervous to leave one myself 😂 love the outfits as always!! p.s. I HAD to let you know I thrifted onitsuka tigers for like $12 a couple weeks ago and they have been LIFE CHANGING!!! I didn’t realize you could feel so cute while also having arch support hahaha
The white reformation dress is sooo pretty 😍 the gingham top and pants go so well together and I like when you also style your clothes, it’s fun and inspires me to style my own clothes in new ways 😊
Dressing is so hard postpartum. I found that all my clothes were uncomfortable for breastfeeding and my new lifestyle. I still struggle after 2 years ngl
old navy has this SUPER CUTE black loose (ish) dress that can detach from the strap to breast feed. i bought it by accident i didn’t know it was for new moms lol
I'm much older, and when I was breastfeeding, people recommended tops made for breastfeeding. There weren't many cute ones, but I managed to find a few. When I was just home, and not going out, I'd steal my husband's larger tshirts. 🙂
I’ve been LOVING your styling videos recently! Bodies change all throughout our lives and I know you’ve helped so many women accept and love those changes in themselves ❤ sending love from Grand Rapids!
Honestly as someone who is not a mom I still find it cute and normal for you to talk about breastfeeding and your baby. People watch you for YOU and this is your life, that's what we're here for
Loved this haul and really love both gingham outfits. But i think the dress top one was the better of the two to me! You look so excited and happy with your new clothes so I'm glad you got some. I had the best time shopping after having my son last year. I felt like such a new person after giving birth and my pre baby wardrobe was just no longer me so discovering my new style this past year has been so fun and watching you light up during this video was so lovely to see 💛
The full gingham fit is so cute. I haven't seen anyone style that much of it before but it reminds me a lot of bestdressed and her picnic bitch outfits
Everytime I get new clothes I try to see with what clothes from my closet they work, so I love it when you style the clothes from your haul. The matching set from the beginning is so pretty
Obsessed with the second gingham outfit!!! Wow so good. Also love the first j crew top. You have such a good vision for clothes on whatnot. I’m very inspired by this video!!!
I love everything in this haul!!! the bloomers really do go with everything... plus the gingham on gingham looked so good both ways, the second top especially though, it fits you so well you dont need the tie
Thanks for the video! I loved that you were styling things as you went; I think that’s way more fun than just a haul. And, for what it’s worth, I love the oversized white shirt on you! Oh, and I think the gingham dress works with the gingham pants as well.
I loved the gingham on gingham both fits. Currently I'm obsessed with finding a varitey of cute blue stripped mens pj bottoms to wear with my oversized button ups. I'm also over my summer clothes but I'm only trying to add a few peices to bring new life to my current summer pieces.
That swimsuit is from Marimekko! It was a collaboration they did with target. That textile was first designed in 1970, it's called "Kukkatori," which means flower market in Finnish. I work for Marimekko if you want my info let me know! It's a really cool brand that does lots of 60s inspired stuff. You might know some stylish Grandmas who wore it back in the day too :)
okkkkkkk I never ever comment on these videos but I just had to! :)... short white dress with loafers and short white or baby pink or even mint little socks, gingham top waaay better with the bow and long white top (the first one you tried with the bloomers I think)would love to see it worn with longer athletic shorts and the kitten heels .. lovely haul overall, love to watch you style the new items, definitely way more fun!
Your body is amazing. Love your content so much but I just know these outfits wouldn't look right on me. Being midsized and curvier I feel like nothing looks effortless on me. Your postpartum body looks way better than I ever have. Anyone else relate?
