Hannibal, I have not smiled this much in months. You have shown me the beauty in the simple things in life - the elegance of conversation and artistry. I have an old deck of cards and a magic tutorial book that has sat on my shelf for over a decade, up until this week. You have rekindled my enthusiasm for magic and I have sat on my floor the last two days relearning old tricks from YEARS ago. I am so glad to have found your videos. I hope to pay forward what your videos have taught me. You are a true artist and such a genuine human being. Keep being an inspiration to me and to the rest of us in these tough times. Stay strong my friend!
I am *SO GLAD* you're still uploading videos.... I just discovered you during quarantine, and the video I originally saw was 9 years old. Your performances are so uplifting... 😊💙
Finding this channel on youtube ocassionaly is like finding a precious diamond in the mountai of coal. So entertaining, so much pleasure to look the master at work. Thank you very much!
This is not just a magic show, this is so spontaneous. No matter if he's using the same tricks, he always makes it an experience for his public. I love these shows he puts on
You are quite literally the only person that has made me smile through an entire video. I don't think I've ever seen such a great combination of personality and talent before in my life. I'm quite willing to say that you are my favourite person, ever.
That damned box! I was eyeing it as the lady said she'd keep an eye on it. When he pulled the ace from his glasses and put it back in the "deck" I noticed the actual deck under the box and didn't think twice of it... My brain just went "oh, another deck". Love how many double takes I had during these few minutes.
I really love this video, i can watch for misdirections AFTER being joyfully tricked for the third time. There's so much to enjoy in this : the tricks, the atmosphere, the BOX that no one really wants to keep watching because he makes it so we enjoy being fooled. I was smiling all along, thank you.
What a lucky audience! Not only do they get to watch an amazing magic show, but this talented performer comes in early and entertains with just a simple warm up! Hats off to you Hannibal, and I'm really happy you decided to do the most with the gifts you were given!
Hannibal is a class act. He has the perfect blend of comedy and awe inspiring magic, i find him to be one of the best. He could use his talent with cards to steal money, but instead he steals our hearts. Mr Hannibal if you see this, your best trick is helping me believe in myself, Thank you.
This is amazing. Why did I have to shovel through lots of random got talent magicians to eventually get a random thumbnail about you? Seriously, like Penn and Teller would say, I don't care about the trick any more, I was too busy enjoying the spectacle. 10/10 wish you the best.
I know right? Watching magic tricks in video makes it lose part of the magic cause you can rewind and slow it down but none the less Hannibal shows are always entertaining and mind blowing.
Hi Hannibal, just wanted to say that I've recently stumbled onto your channel, and I am so impressed with you. Truly, an excellent artist with a real penchant for what you do. I look forward to what comes next, my friend! I'd love to see you go up against Penn & Teller!
I'm living in a small town in the UK and having a really difficult time right now with my mental health. Watching this gave me a few minutes of complete distraction. I've seen other videos of yours and you are very thoughtful and well spoken, it's a joy to come across these :) thank you :)
I just rewatched the first ever video that I saw from you, and was happy to see that you have a new upload. It's so lovely to see you interact with people, such a great personality, good jokes, and awesome performance, even during just a warmup session too. Wish I could see your show live, but living in Europe makes that kind of difficult. Will forever be your fan though! Oh, and the first ever video I saw was the cups and balls routine with two cups that you did. Your lighthearted jokes brought me in, and your big heart and loving personality kept me here. But also the magic is great too!
i wish i could go to one of your shows and give you a great big hug after, good magic and an even better personality, love to see you do your illusions, much love
A wise man said.. Fool me once.... You know the drill... Honest to god, watched you for years, and still to this day. You have a gift of making me smile. Love your work. Best Regards Thomas
Man you made me have this big smile on my face the ENTIRE video. Absolutely love your work. I wish I could have a 1 on 1 with you on how to script magic and how to know what to say and when to say it. Sheesh it seems that the hardest part about magic isn't the conjuring, but the dialogue!
@@HannibalSpeaks Do it! Then pull my finger. Thanks for the great vids, from a former SAM/IBM member who performed only in front of other magicians - a tough crowd, but when you fool THEM, it's worth the effort!
Discovered you about three weeks ago, I'm definitely stunned and in love with your tricks, your presentation, and your sense of humor. Thank you for spreading the love of magic and making me involved in the wonderful art of magic. Love from Pakistan. Take lots of care ☺️
Damn Chris, you're one of best magicians I've seen in a while. You're sleight of hand is great but most people can do that part. What they can't do is perform like you do. Your showmanship is truly impeccable.
You have simply the best patter I've heard in years and years and years. Love it! If you ever read a comic called Girl Genius, there's a character called Master Payne who's a mad scientist and stage magician - he's modelled on a real magician, but he reminds me of you as well.
@@HannibalSpeaks It is a very, very long comic, but it's all free online, it's awesome, and this is the page where we get to meet Master Payne the first time: www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20041110#.X0qtmMgzaUk
Discovered you last week, I love your style. I just watched you on one of your diary pages, I felt so sad for, you seemed so positive yet at that time you owed money and were reinventing yourself. I subscribed so that I could see what you are doing now. I can rest easy now seeing you looking so good, the ace in your specs was so funny.🤣 Top man.
I have just found your channel through the youtube algorithm and man I can just say I absolutely love your work, keep it up! Nobody can pull off some of that insane slight of hand that I've seen you do in those older videos
When people start out magic and try to copy David Blaine stuff, I was trying to replicate your Favourite Trick and not get caught. Still have long way to go, but you are really an inspiration and really skilled magician. Lovely controls and palms, just beatiful. Wish you the best.
Well, I'm not with you on the "lockdown is love" stuff, but great work as per. Fun to rewind the video to see the misdirection we all fell for. Great hand skill.
You are truly an inspiration and I hope to have your demeanor and personality when I am older. Such a great guy, would love to shake your hand and share a beer.
Oh my goodness! Amazing! Also on a separate note it's so awesome that you wear a bowler hat so often. It's such an underrated hat and since few people still wear it, it really makes you stand out!
I just found your videos, and I need you to know that we all love you. All humor comes from a dark place, and with someone as funny as you, you must have some dark times in your life. Just saying, if you ever need anybody, or anything, we are all here for you.
Hey idk if you read these or not but I’d just like to tell you that you’ve inspired me to do magic. I’m not sure if it’ll go past just a hobby but I love the stories you can tell through magic and the wonder you create. I’m only 18 but I’d really love to be able to have as much as a affect on people as you do sir. Just watching you really makes my day so thank you
sappearYou don't know me, I'm a former member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of Magicians, and I'd just like you to ENJOY your undertaking as you explore the dozen or so (depending upon whom you ask) magic principles and create ways to present them with your own uniqueness. Once you get the magic bug (Magic Acquisition Syndrome), you'll never want to find a cure. Now do a little research and find your local magic club. It doesn't matter if they are affiliated with the IBM or SAM (or both, as some are), just join one. Go to the library (when they reopen), find the "magic" section, and make the books "vanish" (by using your library card, of course ; ).
I found your channel through a youtube recommendation, and although I never really watched videos of magicians, I absolutely love your shows and your specific way of interacting with the audience. Thank your for your videos, I wish you only the best! Greetings from Switzerland.
This clip makes me feel so relaxed, so happy. This is great. The low energy, show has not started yet but it will soon, this is just practice, not for real. Super.
Always enjoyed magicians when I was young, later worked as an assistant for two shows. Never worked around slight of hand, but still have not seen anyone on agt that I liked. I believe it's because the judges are in on the tricks with them. (I don't believe in mentalists.) But I love watching you. You're good with the cards, with your showmanship, your humor, and interacting with your audience. I've loved every one of your vids that I've seen. By the way, my name's Hannibal. No, that's your name.. Thank you!
It takes patience and practice to learn how to properly master a card trick. But it takes true skill to do so while giving a thoroughly entertaining experience.
I have trouble falling asleep sometimes and your acts are some weird kind of magician ASMR that helps me fall asleep. I don’t mean that they are boring because I quite enjoy them. I think it’s a combination of your voice and your relaxed demeanor during your act that helps me relax. You’re one of a kind sir.
Tough time you’re having, friend. I call you friend because I don’t know what else to call someone who gives me so much for free and without expectation! Heal up and embrace your valley knowing the hilltop will be so much more pleasurable...yeah, hokey... I know, but I mean it
I love your way of leading the show. I see thousands and thousands of hours of hard work conveniently pressed into a deck of cards in your hands. Insane.
was watching so many videos of you lately and I am just amazed how funny you are. If I ever travel to america (I am german) I'm gonna make sure to attend one of your shows! btw just subbed, keep being funny and entertaining!
I absolutely and completely love everything you do! Just found this one! I have watched so many of your videos and truly love every second of them! Be Well!
with the last trick, he must have had at least two cards left in the Hand, so that there is one he can put the ace of diamonds under ... where did that card go Oo ... xD he's really awesome, the stuff he does as well as his appearance and character
I’ll never forget the time you blew my brother and his friends minds at my house while we were just casually at my birthday dinner! They still talk about it to this day! 😂
So glad to see you're still safe and sound! Hope that one day I could get to experience one of your shows instead of watching it through a screen. Also your birthday is in August as well? Mine was on 15th! Cheers!
