Roadhouse (My Favorite Trick) This is the bar magic version; Slightly bawdier than usual. instagram: MagicArtist Patreon: www.nekkidelfbo... Recorded at the World Famous Magic Castle on May 19, 2018
Well he ask the guy to pick a number and the dude said 3. Which is his usual number, but hannibal reply saying" that's too common/easy"? So from what I understand he wanted to mix it up.. Maybe to surprise his youtube viewers? Lol
@@lol70721 he forced a card (the 6) i think the moment the women counted the cards you see him doing a little movement with his hand, guessing he palmed off 6 cards and placed them with the rest. he probably would have said fine when the person said 6 this is my guess on how this works, not sure though
Even tho I've seen this trick a couple of times and understand it, for some reason, you always make this trick feel fresh. You have a great balance with humor, tricks, stories and interaction. I hope to see you perform live one day. Last but not least, that blonde lady dressed in all black seems gorgeous.
@@rendezvousonmemorylane It is for virgins. For real tho, idiots think its simping if you're in an relationship lets say married for example. Your wife asks if you can do the dishes you say yeah, sure. "SIMP!" That's how people use the word online lmao.
Hannibal, you're my favorite magician. Even for the jokes that the crowd doesn't bite on, I'm in my chair cackling at all of them. Funniest magician by far, and all the moves are really clean. Always makes me smile the whole way through. Love ya
I've watched Chris Hannibal do the same trick on several videos and it always makes me laugh. Who said you need new material to entertain! Great show Chris all the best
Once again Hannibal, I sub no other magicians but I love your channel and have enjoyed watching you over the years. There is definitely love where you are. 👍
So fantastic. I saw you the other night at the castle, I wanted to come say hi, maybe buy you a drink, but I didnt want to bother you. Your stuff is so great, huge inspiration for me
A well equipped bar... rim shot. Seriously, this is fun stuff, and terrific interaction with the audience. I enjoy "my favorite trick", good humor, sleight of hand, lots of laughs and leave them feeling entertained and happy, well done once again. Maybe some day you'll visit Washington state? After the governor decides to follow the science instead of his personal feelings.
There was a girl in the background fiddling with a '4' card (can't tell the suit) so I guess this was supposed to be the subconscious plant. I wish I was this Suave! I should get a waistcoat.
you are one of my favourites along with the juggler comedian and the one wiht the bubbles and the smoke saddly your name is the only name that i seem to recall
Any questions? Yes where is part 2 and do you have more videos of you performing that are just lying around? I stumbled across your channel from a recommended video from a completely different channel and your charisma instantly drew me in to the point where i had to know if you have a channel of your own, to my delight you did and I've now just watched all of your live performances (on your channel) and i still am searching for more as i can't seem to get enough. You seem to take a lot of joy just from the interaction alone, although the routine is polished and rehearsed there still is a uniqueness with every performance. I hope you're well in these times and i hope one day you can come to my lovely city Liverpool where your performances would be ravished.
He did, but because of how he set up the end result HAD to be 4 otherwise the trick would've fallen apart. He tried to force the 4 but the 6 was planted next to it. I'm assuming the cards he spread out where a combination of 4's and 6's so either way he can work with it and make the trick work
so if you'll do this trick, You must give the number to be transferred or stay to the person who chooses the card but how? there is so many cards in there. if he choose 7, thats sucks
Eventually a performer will get the number they wants. The fact that the gentleman was asked to pick a card was because he named the number 3 in the first place and it couldn't fit the plot. Had he picked a 7, the performer could say 7 - 3 = 4 or something else. The key is to sell the audience that you ask by the rule and number(s) leads to different outcomes, when in fact you choose the most convenient rule for each situation to force the same outcome. Edited a typo.
@@Scorch428Sorry for the long reply. I'm just imagining this scenario by myself. A legit magician would much better than this. After they pick a 5, the performer would, for instance, NATURALLY turn to a second person and ask them to pick a small number or something. The small number they'd pick would most probably be 1, 2, 3 or 4. If they pick 2, he goes for (3+5)÷2=4. They pick 4 he guides them to 3+5-4=4. They pick 1, he "forgets" about the 3 and forces 5-1=4. If they pick 3, which is highly unlikely because he already said they're not doing a three today or something else to discourage this choice, the performer would either demand them to choose a different number, or interact with them to place a card of ace somewhere. He later reveals the ace first(because 3+3-5=1), then goes on to remind the first person they initially picked a three, and reveals the 4, because ace or 1+3=4. I don't really think calculations are the hardest part, because the performer could make countless plans when preparing for this trick. The hardest part is to manipulate the audience to let them think that you're not making it up as you go, and to make people believe that you are actually magical, and you can take whatever number or card the audience chooses and make it appear as they wish. It requires accurate speaking and gesturing to pull this off.
