Sleepy Joe??? I saw an erudite, compassionate, highly intelligent man who is calm and collected. The complete opposite of his opponent in this election. He can make a jest about himself, that’s how self assured he is and real. Donald would never, could never make a joke about himself, he is too insecure and dim witted.

I watch these Press Corps dinners every year, and I really missed them during the Trump years when the cry-baby president couldn't handle the heat to show up.

Being able to comprehend and respond to humor is a hallmark of mental health. The inability to understand humor is a symptom of mental illnesses.

How refreshing to hear a president talk and share light moments. This has been a tradition for years. Self deprecating humor has been a staple of correspondence dinner for a sitting president and it only shows the strength and likeability of the president. 4 years was an aberration and hopefully we don't see those days again.

Will they listen? To stop focusing on the horse-race and do some serious reporting?

I cannot ever remember dt laughing at anything other than his own crass remarks about…well everyone and anything. It’s nice to see a real man who can dish it out and take it as well.

I will give credit where credit is due. That was a great speech with actual humorous moments. He was lucid and present and in the moment. But that doesn't mean his policies are great for our country. From open borders to high prices to dependency on foreign oil to...the list goes on. He has been a lousy president. Personally, I am not a fan of Trump either. I fear for our country that our choice is between these two men. Also, I heard the actual clip of Trump saying he would be a dictator on day one. It wasn't anything like Biden was making it sound. He said he'd be a dictator on day one, and close our borders. He'd fix our border issue and then he'd not be a dictator. I believe that we need to be truthful with what both Biden and Trump say and mean.
