Just like to say something about it. (I‘m a physical therapist). It‘s almost impossible to have a stiff lumber spine surely for a woman. But your lower thoracic spine could be. Either way the movements will help that.
@@pillepalle3614 maybe "unlikely" but "almost impossible" seems strange based on personal experience and hearing many stories (including from younger women, so not just pregnancy lumbar pain). why do you think it's so rare?
I like it because it's really familiar. I do most of these stretches naturally almost everyday. I like how there is a structure and folks have named these poses for us to benefit. I appreciate how he repeats his sets for us to see. Those wrist stretches being a delivery driver is really going to change the game for my circulatory system. Thanks man!
Man, I've just discovered all these "moving/animal" kind of training. Did many routines today, this one you upload is very well explained and easy to follow. Keep this flow routines coming, great work!
Just did this. Only 3 rounds and god, the burn was AMAZING! This looks beautiful and demands so much strength at the same time. Thank you so much!!! ❤️
So helpful! There are a lot of animal flow videos that move too quickly into motions and positions that are impossible for a true beginner who has never done anything like this. But this video helps a novice slowly build up a foundation for more advanced positions. There's more than enough in the first 5 minutes to keep me challenged for weeks...
English is not my mother language, but i understand you very well because the way that you explain all and share It with us. It is obvious that you love what you are doing, and we can receive that from you. Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad to find you!!
I'm intermediate by calisthenics standards in terms of lifts, and this workout had me sweating half way in! I didn't even do the flows. So enlightening and fun!
This has helped me a lot, after practicing these load and unload variations for a couple of weeks I can do the beast walk effortlessly, I can now move faster on all fours forward and backwards, to make it more challenging I might add some weights on my back
After doing this a couple of times my body already feels much better. It will make a great addition to my daily stretching and mobility work. Thanks a bunch!
This is an excellent intro to functional animal movements!!! All of your instructional videos are top-notch professional quality!! Thanks so much for all you do!!!
Great routine. I appreciate you going slow with these moves. Most who go through these moves just race right through them to where one has to pause every 5 seconds.
I'm positive primal movement is just yoga. I had a deep yogic practice ... Then I quit, gained an insane amount of weight and only now trying to do something seriously about it after ten years of battling it and yoyo weight.... I've decided to follow primal movements daily, and my muscles within only two weeks are already recollecting old muscle patterns. Thanks for sharing this .. I will follow your vids !
It's fascinating how well my yoga practice carries over ! Essentially what we did was downward dog-to-upward dog, and ape is judt a wider variation of yogi squat :)
@@geniusquick I can now frog. However, it’s not because I have specifically practiced frog. It’s all the other yoga stuff I have being for the last 2-3 months that has generally enhanced my core strength and my terrible flexibility. I think boosting the basics is really helpful and take your time. It will come.
First time watching your tutorial! I love how you explained each movement and gave enough time for us to repeat it. Thank you! i'm excited to learn with you.
Nice video! I'm really overweight, was 114kg (1,79m height) just two months ago right before I started teleworking from my mother's house so I can take care of her during this pandemic. A couple of weeks I started looking after my diet a bit more, and also walking every evening for 75'-100' non-stop on our terrace. Last week I watched your Calisthenics Beginner Routine Without Equipment video, and it inspired me to start my workout routine as follows: Warmup: Jumping Jacks Circuit (4x) 20 pushups (currently against the wall) 30 squats 20-25" short bridge 10" Straight Bridge 20" Tucked Hollow Body Hold 10" Plank 2-3' rest Workout every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. After the workout I go for my daily walk. My plan is to follow the progressions you described in your video, and in parallel replace some of the walking with running when my weight allows it, and I feel I have enough strength on my knees and leg muscles. This Primal Movement Beginner Flow Tutorial looks amazing, and I think I would like to introduce some of this in the future, maybe when I'm on the upper half of the progressions in the current workout. What are your thoughts? Should I do / try something else before? These questions are not only for Ryan, but also for the rest of you that have some experience with this, since I'm a complete noob. :P
Eagerly awaiting your level 2 video ;-) This level 1 you shared was just a gem. Currently doing this, followed by the "easy" variations of burpees you present in your videos now, twice a day, for 40 days. Based on my progress, I'm going to make more use of the harder burpee variations (but keeping a max of 30 burpees per one sitting). Thank you so much, you made a yoga teacher really happy dong "other" movements than his usual ones.
Wow. I've been doing yoga and was thinking ok, maybe I'm ready to try this new thing. That was really hard but felt great. I definitely want to incorporate more of this into my workouts! Thanks!
never felt so well put together in my body since I started this type of movement excercise and I have been doing all types of exercise throughout my life
So excited about Animal Flow! Today was day one for me and I kinda suck at it but looking forward to getting more fluid. Thank you for doing such a detailed video for us beginners.
I'm having a lot of problems doing everything in the video as well. I've been trying to just hold the 3 basic positions to start for 3 sets.of 60 seconds. It's helped me get started
@blackiron by the 3 basic moves u mean the static beast and the rest I forgot their names? 😅sorry. Will go back and try ur method. I have trouble keeping the posture cause the moment I do so I start to shake.
I'm strong enough for this, however my coordination is shot to fuck. My coordination has never been a strong point 😰. Turning it into a strength would help my calisthenics.
This is the best explanation that I found! Thanks for your effort and your patience to explain step by step. Looking forward to the next primal movement video.
OMG, great beginner guide, wasn't sure if a 60 year old could even attempt these movements but I got through tutorial phase only. Will need to practice for a couple weeks before moving on to the "Flow Workout".
Hello Ryan Thanks for all you do... I m a french beginner in bodyweight work, living in Marseille, and i really love your vidéo. Primal mouvements are really great !!! Bonne continuation et mille merci pour tout ce partage !
Hi, I really enjoy your videos. I find them very helpful. Good job, keep it up! I would like to see something like a quick morning routine if possible! Thank you🙏
Ryan, outstanding!!! I’ve seen Primal Movement before but this is the first time I actually tried and succeeded.!! Your video is very very very useful. Thanks and please keep sharing your learnings through your Channel.
8:40 you can try working you flexibility to complete the movement to a bridge, by rotating the hand you are leaning on, and then continue to the other side, that can be fun ❤
A lot of these moves are similar to yoga. I love these routines because for the life of me I cannot go to the gym on a consistent basis. These routines are great because I can do it in my room.
This video is so good. I only discovered primal movement recently but I enjoy it a lot and it‘s improved my balance and stability already. Thanks for the video!
Great work love doing primal movement even better when you get out in nature and apply these skills to moving and climbing through natural terrain, trees, rock outcropping etc! Just got yourself another subscriber!
Awesome stuff! I just started playing around with dragon walks which led me here. The static exercises look like a great way to build up the fundamentals. Really fun way to do bodyweight stuff! 😎💪👍
Nicely done. The voice over over the video is cool and well voiced. I got a little pump from doing these movements! now it's time for the pushups and abs.... thnk u!!
