Mine sucks. Keeps crashing. Viofo support keeps telling me to reload the firmware which fixes it for about a week and then it dies again. Junk.

Not sure how to get a hold of you but brand new Redline 360c will be returned. The plug to the unit completely delaminated and plastic has split. I bought it 2 months ago. The head unit no longer works. I gave my other escort to my wife to drive home tonight. Can’t believe it

Have you done a formal comparison to the a229 Plus vs Pro yet? I'm also in the greater Seattle area and looking to install one based on our typical weather and surroundings; what would you recommend disregarding budget? Is the Pro's 4k justified over the 2k in the Plus in your personal opinion? And then also, if you can, what settings do you like to set yours up with?

I wonder when radar detectors will start coming as two pieces - the detector itself, which is likely quite small and can be placed on the windshield, and the main box, which can be stored somewhere in the compartment or cup holder. First, I don't want $600+ USD equipment attached to the windshield for everyone to notice. Second, there’s no rationale for sticking the entire unit if it can be separated, and the power/base can be any size then.

Love your videos and recommendations. Didn’t know the Escort M2 could go with Uniden R7. Plan to use Blendmount as you recommended. Is the combination of radar detector and M2 with Blendmount too heavy for the mirror? Thanks.

I’ve been having some heating issues with my uniden r4, day to day use it gets pretty warm but on longer drives it gets hot enough to where I almost cant keep my hand on it. Is this something to be concerned about?

Please help, I want to buy an international radar detector and I am in the Middle East and I am confused between Redline old version or Genevo Max, please recommend me a device that can detect MRCT, MRCD as well as laser in addition to the radar that is installed on police cars

Not really. Just very basic and primitive filtering. There’s no GPS or BSM filtering.

i have an order for an R8 that i can still cancel / return that i bought for $550 refurb. Someone was offering me a redline 360c for $550. I was wondering which you’d choose?

r8 is a little bit faster on alerts. 360c is great and i much prefer the look and layout of it tho. i dont care for that huge screen thats a little clustered and harder to read imo.
