Laugh if you will! I am a Class B CDL Trainer for school bus in NY. And this Dude is on POINT! "NOT CRACKED, BENT, OR BROKEN" Is what I strive for my trainees to repeat! Some get it, some fail their Road test!
This video was an essential tool in helping me Trifecta on 6.21.21 in Springfield. Just remember the windshield wipers are properly mounted and secured, not cracked bent or broken, operate smoothly and are not worn, torn, or dry rotten. Thank you!!!
@@cwc8979 I am at the terminal here in Pittston PA. I’m nervous because I want this cdl so bad. So much to remember. I’m hoping when they pair me up with a trainer it’ll help me a lot to remember all this shit😩😄
@@cwc8979 once you get cleared to go to orientation and can actually touch the trucks it’s MUCH easier to study and train the pre trip. Still a lot of parts and verbiage to learn but it’s easier once you can actually see and touch the parts
I just passed on the first try!! Watched this video dozens of times till I caught myself waking up saying not cracked bent or broken! This video definitely helped a lot! Thanks!
I appreciate you for filming this pre-trip inspection. With all the knowledge from videos, books and truck driving groups on social media; we shouldn’t fail or make too many mistakes in the trucking industry. It’s too much information out there. Use it! 🗣Not cracked, bent or broken!
Pretty much, and “not missing any hardware”, “no abrasion buldges cuts dryrot or frays” “not leaking “ i passed my test today, it’s really easy just gotta stick to one video and study it for a week, two weeks max! You’ll pass ✅
I’m at prime now i advise y’all to watch them at least 20 or more times on each section. Focus on a section each day instead of watching the video fully through
That was a great video. Thank you for this video. I just got my cdl permit in the mail and going to apply to Prime the end of this month. Definitely trying to learn the pre-trip now.
The pre/post trip inspection is some what the same as nearly 20 years ago. Just watching this video. I see more in depth looking at section and that they're independent of each other.
I didn’t stay at Prime but I can say Prime has the best set up and break down of how to train for the CDL test I’m back in school to get my CDL and I found myself scrambling around for my pre trip inspection cheat sheet and watching this video more than the one the recommended at school I’m kinda starting to regret leaving Prime without at least finishing my TNT training I can see now why Prime was #1 when I was there
This is going to help me so much be going go prime for my cdl thank you heather she's a great recruiter and this pretty much the same for the flat bed n trucks right
This is in my opinion the best full length video of the Prime Pre Trip Inspection that I've seen so far. I'm currently in school at Prime and this video has helped me tremendously. Thanks for sharing. My only question is, during the In Cab inspection, aren't we supposed to test out Windshield Washer and Wipers too? That's the only thing that I noticed might have been missed. And someone told me the Trailer, in the rear does not have Spring Arms. Is this true. Either way, I'm just grateful you've shared this with us. Especially Prime students who, like myself, was having trouble remembering all of the information on the Pre Trip Inspection. God Bless you and yours and be safe out there. Thanks Again.
Just passed my cdl test. First try passed pre trip, and backing, but failed the road test because my trailer tire rubbed a curb on a roundabout. Two days later I passed the road test. On to TNT now. Can't wait to get my own truck.
After watching this video day & nights for a whole month I passed my test. Im very proud of my self and very great full with God & Mr. Dave. And like a comment that I saw.. My will to live is not cracked, bent or broker
Two things, when you get in the cab and put your seatbelt on. I thought you had to tell the examiner the same. Next during the air break test you took the seatbelt off (after checking your air horn it disappears) I can do that during the test?
20:00 how are you performing a tractor and trailer brake check with your wheels chocked? 😅 ofcourse your tractor wouldnt move. Really nice extensive pretrip ❤❤❤
can you tell me about the test that you have to take with Prime Inc. after you finish with your training what kind of written test? do you have to take with Prime Inc. once you're done with your training you have to make a certain grade on it can you tell me more about that?
Ok so when I do my pre trip can I go n take my time like with each part so I can remember I wanna do trucking next year and I’m drilling this in a head of time so I can be perfect to do my test
Quick question I leave for training at prime on Monday, and just wanted to know will I be tested on the full truck or will they pick one portion of the truck for the exam?
