I think it depends on your age, maturity and I think most 'mature' people can recognise by the 1 year mark if its a serious relationship you want to see long term. Me and my boyfriend are together almost two years, we've both discussed marriage and kids and its very clear that thats the path we want but unlike Meghan and Harry we haven't established our careers yet so it won't be for at least a few years, with that being said, I would marry him tomorrow. So you have to keep in mind these people where they are in their lives

So it's 2023 now and so much has happened in the last five years. I too was thrilled when Meghan and Harry first became a couple and then engaged and wed. I thought she was like a breath of fresh air for the Monarchy. But watching this now, I see things I didn't see then. The first thing is her fake, baby-girl voice which I find very annoying. Also her insisting she knew absolutely NOTHING about the British Royal Family. Everything she learned about it, she learned from him. This is disingenuous. Who reaches Meghan's age and doesn't know ANYTHING AT ALL about the BRF? Is she saying she'd never heard of Princess Diana? Or the Queen? It just beggars belief. Meghan's comment about "how passionate we were about seeing change" (around the 13:00 mark) is very prescient. Harry claims that W&C, Charles and QEII, all embraced Meghan immediately. Maybe. Harry is very happy at this point; quite a contrast to today. I've made it to the end and she never once relinquished The Meghan Claw.

I’m so ashamed to be an American when I read these kind of hateful comments. They are obviously very happy. They deserve to be happy. The foundation of America was built on the idea that ALL people are created equal and are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Maybe it is my Scottish and English heritage but I appreciate being born in a free (which The UK has been for centuries), and also being able to see the historical traditions carried on. The royal family has reinvented the role of the institution and made a very medieval idea of monarchy something serves a great purpose and helps not only their nation but the globe.

Americans both white and black have left racist comments towards this couple and we should all feel ashamed. She is biracial so I do not understand the idea of leaving hate against white or black people because she is of mixed heritage married to the prince. In all technicality, she is just as much white as she is black, not more one race than the other. We all need to put aside our differences, the same way her parents did and be proud at how far the royal family has come to welcome with open arms not only an American woman but a woman that is of mixed heritage. Facing adversity as an ambiguous looking woman from a mixed-race background, living in America, is what probably gave her thick skin so she is probably more prepared to handle the pressures of being in the spotlight than society gives her credit for.

The interviewer missed the major question, two times, about Harry meeting Meghan's family. Very sly of Meghan to constantly look at Harry throughout the interview all the while gushing like a schoolgirl with her first boyfriend, already having been married and divorced and left a relationship to date Harry as was later discovered.

One thing I noticed that the interviewer asked about meeting the families, and Meghan only talked about meeting both sides of Harry's family. Yet this was before the drama with Thomas Markle. She did say that Harry had talked to Thomas "a few times", but that's it. Regarding the engagement ring. Harry talked about the significance of the diamonds. Meghan said "and he designed it". Yet, shortly after the wedding she had the ring sent away and re-designed.

What's with all the race remarks? Both the positive and the negative I don't understand. Race is the last thing I think about when I look at them. They seem to really connect and be happy, that's what I see. Also I didn't think she was dominant or pushy at all. She just answered questions when asked.
