Maybe it’s the only video on youtube that explains this principles about the apexl locaters Thx for the valuable information Especially these first and second generations ❤
Hi! Thanks for explaining this! It will be really kind of you if you could provide some clarity on this- Is Ingle's radiographic method of working length determination still valid for digital X-rays? Since digital x-rays are so magnified does the radiographic method still valid?
Hi sir... I use triauto zx endomotor with apex locator.. in some cases it show it reached apex while cutting with rotary files.. after fitting of gp it will show short 4 to 5 mm... It was very disappointed situation.. what may be the cause.. is it fault of rotary files due to wear of file blades??
Hi It's not a fault of rotary files. There can be following reasons for faulty reading in your case - 1. Just check for contact of rotary file to gum or cheeks during preperation. Avoid its contact to gums 2. May be canal is overflooded with irrigant or saliva. Dry the canal before use. 3. Ideally take WL with hand file, then use rotary at that length. 4. Take approximate WL on preoperative IOPAR. It will take you to last 2-3 mm of canal which will help in avoiding faulty reading
