As a 3d modeler myself who makes upgtade kits for figures,.. THIS Is literally the most impressive thing I've ever seen. The amount engineering this guy did is INSANE. To put in perspective, the person who made this and modeled this is a genius. I cannot express how much of a headache it is to make a single hinge and moving parts at all. ♡ I bought this knowing it was worth every penny

Yes!!!! People taking the time and care to make something they love and sharing it with others! This is inspirational!!

This is both extremely impressive since someone engineered this to work so well, and its 3D printed... and a little depressing because this has more steps and better transformation bits than most bots Hasbro put out in awhile. There are impressive mass forming transformations and neat tricks. But this comes across as one of those you keep on the desk because its satisfying to transform. Personally I'm not big into the G1 designs, but I definitely love that alt mode. The compact truck look is kind of like the Beast Hunters Prime, just cleaner. These are the people Hasbro needs to hire. Also, is it just me or did anyone else get that happy nostalgic feel when watching this, specifically thinking back to Transformers Animated toys? The chunky solid parts for transformation and the thick 'this is meant to be played with' look of the plastic. I just got Kongdom Primal and he's been shelved in less than a day due to fear of breakage. This might be 3D printed so a bit more fragile than it looks, but it still appears solid and definitely playable.

Marvel Powermaster Optimus is my all time favorite Optimus. PMOP was the toy I had of Optimus the most (after an unfortunate incident broke my G1 Optimus toy), and the comic was my main source of G1 since it went on for years after the US cartoon ended. What Simon Furman did with Optimus and Scorponok in that run ill always be one of my favorite arcs in TF media. I love this figure and definitely want to try printing my own once I get my printer up and running.

I can't believe we're at a stage where fans can design & 3d print their own toy designs, it's amazing to see. Being a TF fan originally through the classic comics, I love this too. Hope we see some takes on comic-only characters too.

All I want from 3d 3rd party printed stuff is bunches of tools and weapons. "Shockwave's lab" , "Ratchet's med kit", "Swindle's stockpile", "tailgate's bar and cafe", and "Wheeljack's workshop" would be a good start

It's so cool to see newer tech being use like this. I know 3d prints are used for all sorts of stuff from transformers to rc cars to industrial testing and so much more, but its so cool to see a 100% printed (minus hardware) transformer with almost full range of motion, and transformable.

for what this character does, it is amazing. It would have been cool if it had a base mode, but it's okay that it doesn't for what it does

That's very clever. and the skit, hoo boy, that skit was something. Also, if you glue the handles to the bottom of the gun they MIGHT, and I'm saying "might" because...well, if you put too much pressure on the handles, they would break if they were bent the wrong way. That stuff ain't flexible.

Awesome review, for sure! Thanks! First, I was like, hey, cool 3D print project. However, when it transformed...and how it transformed. Wow. I mean seriously, this is awesome. Also, yes, he is a perfect Marvel Comics Powemaster Optimus, and, oh yeah, red eyes. He doesn’t follow the new blue eyes/red eyes transformers policy.

At least he uses the actual front grill. No extra front grill.

growing up with the marvel comics, expecially the headmasters/powermasters era, god i wish i had the money (or just even a 3d printer) for this; it looks so good!

Y'know, I quite like the "baby trailer" look, this is POWERmaster Prime, he's no civilian transport truck any more, he's a badass armored battletruck of murderdeathjustice! And yeah, this is amazing for a full 3D-printed figure! Would be nice if there was a liiiiiittle more coverage on the back of the truck but oh well.

Always hope someone will print these on a hi res printer to make it more smooth.

Emgo... to explain this level of skill and artistry. You took a hammer and had to superglue a mass produced model not shockwave with less moving part then this. I will be ordering all of the builders figures as they are advancing the 3d field. More of a quantum leap.

Aside from his back has his internals exposed, this is pretty cool. Downsize this a bit and this could easily pass as an okay Deluxe class toy.

if you really want lighpiping in his eyes you can grab that 3D print piece, make a silicone mold and make a resin copy... and boom a translucent piece... make sure you don't have bubbles on it... good luck if you are doing it
