4:00 just click [Alt]+[Y] - that saves you 45 seconds of work. I would have nevre thought about using the directional blur inside the splitter/combiner. usually it makes more sense to use the zoom blur, but I'll give it a go. might create an interesting effect when the blurs are set to different angles
Yeah! FX3 was always my main camera. Just didn’t dedicate content with it. Recently just sold the FX30 since I wasn’t getting a lot of Multicam jobs anymore
Lens manufacturers have spent their entire lives perfecting and correcting aberrations and now that they have achieved it, we want everything imperfect... But imperfection is so cool!
Depends on what you’re going for! I still use clean perfectly sharp lenses for corporate work and product videos but these are just things people would pick or edit depending on the project! Lots of movies with dirty but beautiful images like the Batman (2022)
Yeah! In photoshop, If you duplicate a layer three times, you can double click and split the layers to only show R G & B. From there you can just use the blur tool to smudge the edges!
@@snowycamplodge you'd just need to mix and match the colours when you're doing the splitter node method! maybe pull the colours on another node after using the color warper
Man, I love prism effect in DaVinci. I found it couple months ago and used it since then. But I don’t use it with power windows, I have to try. But I use it just a tiny bit, something around 0,005. It’s just giving a bit softer, less digital look. Overall I use prism, a bit of glow, halation and grain, and it always gives me the look I want
@@VictorLaforteza yes! All of my lenses is G Masters, so it's pretty perfect in terms of quality. So with all these DaVinci's tools i can make this lens looks more artistic, or leave it clean if i'm working on more commercial things. But even in commercial look i used just a tiny bit of prism. Thank you Victor! Waiting for the new videos from you ;-)
