how many times a person opens jan dhan account, one time right, make some policies for private bank that they have open jan dhan accounts, and we have seeing this NPA problems since forever, plus with government job security you cant expect good governance in the bank bc they dont have anything to lose. Privatisation of government banks.. Why is it needed? For profit? Isn't government sector is to serve people rather making profits put of it For better service? Can't we just do it through better management, better infra and other necessary steps. For NPAs? Can't we just put pvt sector banks on test for sometime. With the same conditions that are applied with government sector banks. Starting from customers to employees and regulations and government's schemes and plans and let see wether they are able to make equal profits as they are making now. For making india better? How would it result into this. Work on people not banks not any other organisation invest in people. As people make organizations that makes profit and devise better servicing not organisation at first place. Is government not apet enough in managing PSUs and PSBs. Well i have a question to ask here that is our literacy rate is enough to bear the burden of privatisation.?? And as we are taking about a major change we should also change the definition of literacy .it cannot be restricted to reading and writting name or identifying letters. How dynamic education has become and how one should be equipped with knowledge and competency to live in a world/ country where everything belongs to someone but not to people . Are Indian ready enough to deal and cope with the change. It is just kicking people out in a war for life. What about the change management is anyone talking about it? Anyone concerned to people who are employed in these banks. All age group what will happen to there mental health will they be good to work in this stress causing change. Yes Govt should not think about profit but it doesn't mean that govt is here for charity. Most of the absconded defaulters took loan from Govt banks. Govt Bank employees are the most lazy employees I have seen and they neglect about the loans. Govt Banks make the losses and this is compensated by Tax payers money. And Govt banks have given highest loan and also they have highest NPA too. Jan Dhan accounts can also be opened in Private banks. Govt is privatising the banks but not closing them. Root cause of the problem was created by earlier govts.
