Love this.....Flam stuff,Flam taps,Flam accents,Swiss triplets...my big study point for years.Flam accent #1 a forgotten rudiment.A flam tap in swing, kind of..Thanx to Jim Chapin..He had crazy flam stuff in the 60's...was ahead of his time.....
I play a Swiss army triple, starting with my left hand. And starting on the ah. You can move you right hand around the toms, leaving the left hand on the snare. Someone Probably showed me this, I don't remember. It sounds cool if you play your right hand on the floor tom, and leave your left on the snare. Open the flam up. 1 ah 3 ah 3 ah 4 ah. You can also come back and flam on the one on the snare 1 blap 2 blap 3 blap 4 blap 1. It would sound cool on that pandaro you have. Do you have private lessons?
Nice! I like that idea. I’ve had to take a break from teaching private lessons in order to keep up with all the content that I’ve been creating for Stanton Moore Drum Academy and the RU-vid channel. 🙌🏼
It's refreshing to see a drummer playing with conventional grip. No matter what type of drummer you are, ALL drummers should be comfortable with using both match and conventional....
