Much better than the other uploads, nice to see some better passing and a few 2nd gear rushes. Other games you looked like typical beer leaguer, here you showed another level.

Loving the content! if you get the wee fluffy attachment (sometimes known as a dead cat) it will stop the mic picking up the "wind" noises. Good work on this though!!

Curious; what was the angle of the camera on the helmet? Was it tilted down to capture the puck more? Or is the camera set straight and it's the head that is down most of the time? it's always good to learn what pros are actually looking @ when playing, since terms like 'scanninng the ice' and 'making reads' that are thrown around can be very subjective.

Cameras titled down so you can see my stick. The cameras definitely misleading from my actual POV.

The only thing that kind of triggers me, the camera is sometimes so low. I always want to put my head up. My "do not get open iced" sense is close to ptsd.

camera angle is better. still feels like im looking down buuut i think its just cause your tall and your are trying to capture the puck and stick handling. not sure what you can do about that. Either way my neck doesnt hurt watching this one. on another note: you didnt keep the puck in by a "mile" lol was a nice clean sexy walk on the line tho. "BEEERRRRY NIIIIICE"

What's the skill level like for this league? Is it pretty much all former high level players? And I'd definitely be interested in seeing a video on your career progression. It would be interesting to hear how the process was going up through the ranks and eventually having to make the tough call to not play competitively anymore. I also wonder if the concussion issues are something you worry about being a problem in beer league, or if you're in a league that's friendly enough to not really need to worry.

Looks like an average men's league. If he wanted to he could Score 10 goals per period is my Guess.

@@ultimatesteve when guys collapse to the net and go heavy on stick, not that easy.. they'll double you and force you to shoot from distance. Full head of steam driving through outside in non-contact is difficult to gain the middle.

@@BCSimonYT im judging by the looks of the guys skating. hes a former nhl player, he could beat everyone if he wanted. there are high level scrimmages where i live in the summer. we get college, junior, and even some nhl, and a few retired nhl players. its night and day compared to the mens league. maybe it looks slower on the gopro, but i think you can tell just by a lot of the guys posture on skates.

@@BCSimonYT just to add to my other comment. To make of to the pro level also takes another level of anticipation, seeing the game, reacting at such an insane game speed. This beer league is nowhere near that level of "think speed."

@@ultimatesteve no, but in beer league they will collapse to net and just slash you, double you and give no space. One NHL guy in a B or A level beer league being double teamed won't get much off in maybe 12 mins of ice-time. I play regularly with former NHLers and current pros.. when they are shadowed or doubled, it's not easy as you think to play 1 on 5 on small ice if guys just collapse and double. Every time as a ringer, you cut to the net or go around a dude you're being chopped at by 2 or 3 sticks. It's not fun when you're higher level than the gameplay. If the NHLer doesn't have an elite ability to create their own shot from distance, they ain't getting much in most big city A leagues..
