I've drafted Theros about 80 times at this point so I know every small art detail of every Theros card (not to mention I know what they do) and I know most of the Ravnica block/m14 cards the same way.
I think they assume that if we are watching video of a tournament we are into the game enough to know all of the cards. I with you however, I just look the cards up on my phone as I watch on my tablet.
It happens to a lot of players and it starts when you get bored holding your hand for ages so you flick through your hand. Your brain keeps you active when you think a lot.
Are you referring to the French cards and such? It's completely legal in Yugioh to use other language cards from the TCG such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc. You can't use OCG cards (asian languages) in Yugioh because of rights conflicts and the fact that the cards are often printed in completely different sets/rarities in the OCG.
Okay, what double strike does is your creature does both first strike damage and then normal damage against what ever is being hit. In this case he takes 6 first strike damage, and 6 normal damage, so your friend takes 12.
Sorry for this stupid question but I'm new to the game. I had double strike on a 6 6 angle and I attack my friend life (he didn't block) he said he takes 6 damage yet I read online it does double damage to life is that true?
idk if thats sarcastic or not,but he bounced a purphoros back to hand, leaving 3 creatures and a hammer creature, and he swings with all, it was lethal alone with all the elementals cuz of the 2 stacked master of waves +1/+1 bonus of them all making them 2/3s
on Game 2 of the video, Dezani v Cornelissen, Why didn't He cast Mizzium on the Master? Disperse would help, sure, but it might have given a chance on drawing into Nykthos
Ok seriously. The constant card shuffling has got to stop. Someone needs a girlfriend or to cut back on the monster energy drinks. You know what is in your hand. Put it in order and leave it alone.
To ensure they make the best plays per turn and remind themselves what is on the flied (checking discipline used to ensure they miss nothing), things can be EASILY overlooked; one decision can make or break the game.
48:43 big board eh i remember a game i had at Friday night magic i was versing my friend and he used a bubbling cauldron regenerate combo to get 4 life each turn and i was using a simic deck we ended up in a draw but with all the creatures ooze tokens lands and enchantments i filled up my entire side i had a 14/17 crocanura because of forced adaptation and with tablet of the guilds i just keep getting life we finished at 36 me and 77 my friend he had a freaking 14/14 nightmare but crocanura still would kill it best stalemate ever
Turn 2 you can easily play arbor colossus. Or your hand or whatever. Play Burning Tree Emissary into Burning Tree Emissary, tap Nykthos Shrine to Nyx for green, win by turn four. Easy peesy, and it happens a LOT.
not the best stale mate ever. At my local legacy tournament i had a platinum angel w hexproof and i won with azors elocuters. The final score was me-423 him526 lol he swung for 20 ever turn w lpfelink but it didnt matter
