T.Rex customer service, lead times, and 2A-community contributions are top notch. But, while Tier 1 Concealed has horrible lead times right now, I do appreciate their Axis Elite design that beefs up the stress points on the holster to reduce breakages. Worth the wait in my opinion. I'd love to see T.Rex do something similar, but it would be difficult to streamline. Great vid, man! Thanks for sharing!
I might have to give tier 1 another shot sooner than later. I used to have one for my Glock 48 back in like 2020. Looks like they have come a long way.
@@cagneybillingsley2165 That’s why I typically prefer Die Hard carry. Conceals well between the shoulder blades and you just need some holiday packing tape 👍 Cheap and efficient!
I prefer the Agis Elite from Tier 1 I like not having to deal with the bungees and being able to quickly go to 4o clock carry at anytime. I also have the side car but when I got the tier 1 it’s been in a drawer for more then a year. The hinge system is okay but it’s just not that comfortable and feels a little bulky compared to the perfection of a Tier 1
I have had no issues with product , but I can can say that I have at least ten different products from them and all were shipped quickly arrived in perfect packaging . Their products are great and their free you tube video information is greatly appreciated .
Ive been running a sidecar with my G48 every day for about half a year, ill definitely be keeping an eye out for that cracking but this is the best holster ive found so far. Happy to hear their customer service is as good as it is
I’ve gone through about the same amount of holsters from them as you, and the last time (about 2 months ago) they got me to get the replacement that used their thicker kydex……well here I am with the same crack. I ordered a new holster from TXC to give them a shot. I really wish that problem could get figured out, I really like T Rex as a company and their customer service is top notch……just wish I didn’t have to do the warranty every few months.
Thanks, I clean and inspect my hostler every month or so. Just noticed the crack starting to form and was contemplating going with another company. It's my first CCW and I'm 8 months into EDC. I also put the claw on the front for extra concealment. I also like to keep the gun pressed tightly against my body to reduce chaffing. Will definitely get a replacement with them and see if the thicker kydex would hold up better.
How tight are you keeping your belt? Been carrying a sidecar for 2 years with a glock 19 + tlr7a no cracking or damage, and this is the first time I've heard of someone having this issue.
@@donkeydefense odd, I have my claw on the front with additional diy spacers to make it push out further. Still no crack yet, I guess I'll keep an eye out for it 🤷
