Once again thanks for the fantastic video, as a PM would like to disagree on the work-life balance part, its no way less hectic than consulting in fact its more because a lot of our time is spent on building, scaling and monitoring an actual feature which is technically complicated for which you are responsible for even at 2 a.m on a Saturday night in comparison to the fake and less sophisticated work that happens in consulting like travelling, making ppts!

Thanks Insider Gyaan for creating this video. I am wondering If I can get your thoughts on this - I recently discovered product management but my impression so far is that I can be paid well (sweet sweet tech salary), don't need to code, don't need any special certifications/MBA/MS Computer Science (or any specific degrees for that matter) or specific experiences. Seems too good to be true. Wondering if I am missing something?

Very well explained. You really covered this topic in depth and breadth. Very insightful 😊 I have one question though, as you explained that even consultants move to this role, so I wanted to check specifically if consultants from top companies get hired into product management roles of top companies like microsoft, paytm, meta, google, amazon etc. if they have a strong past technical background and related education but may not have worked in tech related projects in consulting.
