Or it could be lack of financial accountability on the charity's part. It would be nice to know the reason so future donors know before donating.

Catholic Community Services has always seemed to be a great organization. I doubt it's an accountability issue. I've been around for 40+ years, and it seems like they have, too .

I used to go without food as a kid. Then when it was available I would eat as much as I could. I was the chunkiest kid in class but skinny compared to today's standards. Maybe that's what they do or maybe it's the low quality food they get from school lunch and these programs.

It is a known fact that some people are born thick. Thick bones and thick bodies. They don't eat anymore than many of the kids that are regular sized or eat anymore than the skinny kids. Sometimes they have a very slow metabolism. I have a slow metabolism and a slow pulse rate. Most of the time I eat two meals a day and they are not big meals but I am still overweight.

They were dressed to work. Lifting boxes, unloading trucks, handling stuff coming from warehouses. It wasn't a fashion show!

There are many factors that lead to financial problems. IDK about you but everything has become very expensive in these last few years.
