today I'm programming the Radtel RT-730 that they sent me to review. So far Im really impressed with this radio. Heres a affiliate link to the radio on amazon. Hopefully they will get more in stock soon amzn.to/4aRqaMQ
The included cable will need a driver installed in most cases. The RT-730 programs flawlessly with Chirp. The most recent Radtel firmware update improves the menus for front panel menu options. I'm loving this radio. Build quality is excellent as are both TX and RX audio. An interesting tidbit: What Radtel calls a "roger beep" is really a "clear to send" chirp and does not transmit over the air and is not heard by anyone receiving the signal. Radio is extremely tight on the receive and resistant to intermod, yet sensitive. TX on the sample I have his clean with first and second harmonics -40db down or better. Great signal reports, USB charging, extremely water and dust resistant, better than 9 watts on both bands, and built like a tank. This one was intended for evaluation and quickly became my daily carry.
