Project Brutality 3.0 test build together with Unfamiliar Episode Martian Fury made by Chief Smokey, difficulty Man and a Half, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Because the first Unfamiliar Episode is quite long to achieve 100%, I've decided to split playthrough in two parts, otherwise the video would be simply way too long to watch :P. This is a remake of the classic Knee-Deep in the Dead episode from The Ultimate Doom, but it needs Doom 2 WAD because of the additional stuff needed to run this mappack. The levels are way longer than before, contain additional secrets and have way more monsters than before, the map layouts are also a lot more complex than in the vanilla. It means that you can easily... get lost during the navigation in some places, the corridors and outdoor areas might feel too similar when exploring the levels. But compared to the vanilla maps, the feeling of levels is fantastic, I've probably never before seen as good looking remake of Military Base E1M9 as here. Visually it's an outstanding levels the wall textures are just fantastic, giving a high-tech look to the level that give you feeling of exploring a base on Mars. Other levels sure resemble the classic maps, for example you will encounter the same maze in Nuclear Power Plant or same starting area in Mineral Refinery. As I said before, secrets have been redone - some of them have a very similar trigger like before, some are a little bit altered while some of them are completely new to the level. First level introduced the keys to get, while a blue keycard is mandatory to find, red one gives you a possibility to enter non-secret open area with some goodies to find. When you reach the Industrial Compound (E1M4) things start to get a little bit confusing, just focus on the playthrough and you will surely reach the end of this level.
How do you get the animations in the very beginning and the weapon switches I have been trying to figure it out and I cant see what I have to enable to get them. I have the stock animations no matter what version I download.
I love how the possessed soldiers taunt you lol saying things like “PUNY MORTAL” and “HUMAN GGHHRRR DIE” it’s great and the best part is Doomguy taunts back saying things like “EAT THIS” and “COME AT ME” it’s great man!
Hmm...blasting Viking/nordic Metal in the background while watching this makes me extremly tempted to get a Doom Copy...some brutality mod....and then Go all out Axe & BFG through the intire thing.. Imagen a mod add on for say Brutality....that made the demons and others act like a 'real' force...aka..even if you killed the first ones without them reporting your presence ,ther 'ceasing' to exist would be noticed in command and all other demons on the base start to hunt and destroy for you and adapting ther behaviour accordingly to ther numbers XD
