Yeah!!!!!!!!!! This is cool 😎. I've actually decided to make my own iron man suit using 2 3d printers, so thanks for helping give me confidence for that!

If I ever get the courage to build one of these suits it would probably have to be the Hulk buster because I'm a really big guy. Like, size men's size 13 shoes, big. LOL. Thanks for these vids. Between you, and Frankly Built, there is a huge amount of info and tips. Keep it up!

The iteration and improvement upon design after design after design, solving new problems and finding new ways to solve them, reminds me of someone. Um... I think his name was Stank? Tony Stank? That sounds right.

Question: I saw in one of your other videos (and you mention in this one) that you connect things with springs (which I imagine that it may be uncomfortable). In similar situations in historical armors they used strips of leather or textile to connect parts of armor (like the plates of tassets if viewed from inside). Is there a reason behind this choice of yours (the use of springs)? Thanks in advance and sorry for the broken English

Couldn't you wear a flexible/stretchy black skin tight suit and stick all the peices to the suit, and then to get into the suit you just slip on the black suit with all the peices stuck to it? It also increases mobility

Question, What settings do you use when printing with TPU filament? I'm new to using TPU and been having trouble with it feeding faster then it; extruding.

What designing program do you use? Like I switch between a few like Tinkercad and Blender but which one do you mainly use?

Would it be better to print all of the suit and then work on smoothing, or make it bit by bit, so totally finish the helmet, then move on to neck, finish, paint, and move down?
@matthewweinberger7023
@matthewweinberger7023 3 года назад
all at once, you dedicate a week or how ever long to doing it and fully set up a station and get it done, doing bit by bit means more work and building/removing a work station for each part

Hey, I imagine you have been asked this question a million times so sorry. But what 3D printer do you recommend for a beginner, i don’t own one yet but want to own one that will be able to print large pieces as wanted to build an iron man suit. Maybe a CR10?

Through the magic of RU-vid recommendations, I found a guy called BruceKenobi who put out a video three years ago showing off an iron man suit by Mastor Kang. It's really impressive work, and I thought he might be a good, possible source of information if you run into problems that you need to solve, maybe help you speed up your process. Keep it up Emily!

Good lord, how can a person as slim as you have fitment problems with those, LOL! I can only imagine if my fat arse decided to build one of these, that would be a tragic waste of filament. I think the only people that can *comfortably* wear those suits are ex horse jockeys that weigh 90 lbs, but I admire the sheer amount of work that's going into this! Hope it fits! Comfortably!
