Great video! I'm doing the same job on my D8 saloon. What were your subframe bolts like? The rear 2 most on mine had large washers that went over the bushes, the front 2 did not. I don't know if this is how it came from the factory. I'm worried that without the washers, the subframe is just hanging from the middle of the bush.
Mine was the same, one I think was missing. They are just a safety feature in case the subframe bushes fail. Let's say if all the bushes fail (the center of the bush separate from the outer shell) then if the car is in the air for some reason the subframe will fall on the ground :) That's why we have these washers.
@@bobbysplace7993 Thanks! Seems an odd arrangement. I was actually more concerned that the press fit of the bush would fail and it could come out of the subframe altogether. I suppose if it was a problem we would have heard about it by now.
