Great to see your boat sealed up and water tight

Don't worry my friend, I never had a straight face when you said it either 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Now, playground humour aside, wonderful progress and every step you take towards a dry interior is a step worth struggling over (maybe not as much as you have right enough) Another great video presented with you usual brand of common sense advice, good humour and satisfying work

Those side decks are starting to look great again! Love the humor about the lack of sunshine…hard to do 11:01 outside boat work in the rain isn’t it? Regards.

It is a man hole, or for the really pedantic a worker's access hatch, but definitely NOT a "person" hole.
@PeterPan_was_here
@PeterPan_was_here 3 месяца назад
I think its the sharp outer/upper edges that need rounding to hold paint, not the ones where paint can easily flow into. The filler on the manhole doesn't really do anything to help, beside maybe make it look a bit better
@BoatProjectY
@BoatProjectY 3 месяца назад
hi Peter can you elaborate, I don't see what outer edges you are referring to, or give me an example of such an edge. thanks
@PeterPan_was_here
@PeterPan_was_here 3 месяца назад
@@BoatProjectY you've radiused/filled the edge between manhole and desk. That edge would easily fill with paint and doesn't need any help. On the other hand, the sharp upper edge, where the lip makes a 90 degree, that is where paint has a hard time holding on because its sharp. That is the edge you need to hit with a grinder to make it rounder. Hope this helps, it's a bit hard to explain with pen and paper
@BoatProjectY
@BoatProjectY 3 месяца назад
@@PeterPan_was_here gotcha, so I don't need filler on this particular item, just need to round the edges better to avoid sharp 90° edges on the lip. correct?
